Wet body glide - water based lube by Wet Lubricants - review by Jenna.J.Ross

This is a great lubricant made by Wet International. I have it in Kiwi Strawberry but it also comes in 4 other fabulous flavors; Sweet Cherry, Wild Blueberry, Pina Colada, and Passion Fruit Punch. This lubricant can be used for both oral and vaginal intercourse. The Wet Body Glide Strawberry Kiwi lubricant is a water based lube which makes it safe for use with latex condoms and compatible for use with toys. This lubricant is also sugar free so if you're diabetic this lubricant would work great for you. The bottle design includes a ribbed grip which is suppose to help keep you from dropping/spilling the lube once you're all lubed up. To dispense the lubricant simply flip the top open and lightly squeeze. I prefer lubricants with a pump dispenser because I feel it's less messy and easier to control the amount of lubricant you receive. I found that this lubricant worked best for me when used during oral use. It has a gritty texture to it that I found unpleasant during vaginal intercourse. While it is safe to use with latex, Wet Body Glide lubricants contain an ingredient called Glycerin. Glycerin has been known to promote or aggravate yeast infections. If you're prone to yeast infections I would suggest avoiding using this product during vaginal intercourse.

I found the texture of Wet's International Body Glide Lubricant to be gritty. Almost like it has little bits of sand or sugar like particles. Because this is a sugar free lubricant, the grit I experienced cannot be actual sugar particles. This lubricant is easy enough to dispense. Simply flip the top open and flip the bottle over. Lightly squeezing will cause the lubricant to run easily out. While easy to dispense, due to its thin consistency, it is also very easy to squeeze out more than you actually need so take care when dispensing. Water based lubricant absorbs easily into the skin but tends to leave behind a sticky/tacky residue. I also found when we used this lubricant for vaginal intercourse we needed to reapply it many times to keep the slick consistency we wanted.

This water based lubricant has a nice strawberry kiwi flavor and scent to it. I found that applying it once was all it took to sustain the flavor for a decent oral session. I only use a dime size amount and have tried applying it both directly to my lover's penis and by hand. Both methods work well but be warned, if you apply it by hand you will end up with slippery hands. When I used more than a dime sized dollop I found I ended up with an odd after taste in my mouth. Too much of a good thing can become overwhelming so be careful when applying.

I prefer to use this water based lube for an added twist to oral. The little bit we used held up well during our oral play sessions. I like to put little drops all over his sensitive zones( neck, chest, stomach, inner thighs) and trace my tongue along from one drop to the next. This really sets the mood for us both. It contains both real and artificial fruit flavors so if you're looking for an all natural product this may not be the one for you. It's simple enough to clean up since it's a water based lubricant (warm water and a soft wash cloth will do the trick). Water based lubricants absorb into the skin so if you're using this lubricant for vaginal intercourse be warned you will probably need to reapply a couple times. While you'll lose the slickness this lubricant leaves behind a sticky/tacky residue on the surface of your skin which can be unpleasant. While easy to clean up this lubricant will not stand up in a water situation. Weather you're using this product in your bed, on a couch or a rug, this lubricant is non staining and color free so no hard to explain spots.

Wet International Body Glide comes in a nice little colorful bottle. Depending on which flavor you buy the bottle comes decorated with little pictures of fruits which makes grabbing the flavor you want in a dark room very simple. A nice flip top makes dispensing simple. It also features a ribbed grip designed for easy handle ability when all lubed up. Take care to close the lid or it will leak.
