Sapphire boyshort with bow - crotchless panties by DreamGirl - review by Hot 'N Sexy TexasMama

I was born in September and sapphire is my birthstone. For years, this was my favorite color and it is so hard sometimes to find plus size items in a gorgeous color like this. Once I started buying myself pretty underwear, I debated on getting these for weeks but I could never bring myself to do it. I finally broke down and used my 25% "Holiday" code discount from Eden Fantasys to order six pairs of underwear. This was the first one I put in my cart.

What this is...and how to wear it

This is a crotchless pair of lace underwear made in a "boyshort" style. They can be worn under clothes, with lingerie or as part of a costume.

Currently on Eden Fantasys, this product is available in S,M,L,1x/2x and 3x/4x. It is also currently available in fuchsia, black and ruby red along with the sapphire color I'm showing in this review.

Materials & Care

These panties are made of 90% nylon and 10% spandex and you can tell this by how much they stretch. The tag states that they should be hand washed in cold water and line dried. I will be washing them in the washing machine in cold water for a delicate cycle. They'll be in a lingerie bag with all of my other lace underwear.

Design

These are pretty much your basic lace boyshorts...but they're crotchless. They are 19.5" wide in the front but can stretch past 25" and they are a little over 11" long in the crotch area. They are about 4.5" long on the sides. The crotchless parts that hang down are 2" wide.

There is a small bow in the front and a larger bow in the back.

While there are seams up the middle of the front and the back, I did not notice them while I was wearing these.

Sizing

According to the DreamGirl sizing chart, I need a waist that is 40"-44" and hips that are 50"-56". Both my waist of 49" and my hips of 57" are above their range - yet somehow, this stretches enough to fit me - a bit tightly - but I can wear it.

I have mixed feelings about these panties. The color is beautiful. The lace is nice and the bows are cute. They fit ok.

But the price is much higher than I would normally pay.

Its kind of like how one person will look at a review and go "Extremely useful" and another person may look at the same review and go "useful". It just depends upon what your standards are and what you're used to wanting to see.

Someone who normally pays these prices for panties - will love them. Me? I've found cheaper panties that are pretty that I like and I can get 2 pairs for the price of these when they're not on sale.
