I don’t surprise my man with sexy lingerie very often, so when I do, I like to make it worthwhile. Well, this little number is definitely a worthwhile addition to my collection. As soon as I took it out of its packaging, I fell in love with the smooth satiny robe and the soft lace chemise. I immediately stripped down and slipped them on.

First off, the sizing chart was very accurate. I’m a size 6 or 8 (depending on the store…Don’t you just hate that, ladies? I digress) and ordered a medium, and it fits perfectly. Being lace, it could definitely accommodate someone bigger, though, up to a size 10, I’d say. Since there isn’t any type of breast support, you don’t have to worry about cup sizes. I’m on the small side of a b-cup, so no support is fine with me. Besides, small/medium/large might work for your body, but it rarely works for your boobs, right? The straps are adjustable, which is also an added plus.

Now on to the lace. Oh my, the lace. It is so soft, and when I slipped into the chemise and the lace caressed my belly and breasts….wow. It felt so incredibly sexy. My breasts perked right up at the touch of those intricate thread designs. Mm, so nice.

The robe is made of very light-weight, soft satiny polyester. It has a skinny inside tie as well as thicker outer one. This would be great if you’re planning on wearing it for an extended amount of time; the slickness of the material doesn’t lend well to staying tied. While I never plan on wearing this for very long, it’s nice to know that I can. Also, since the robe is black, you could pair it with just about any lingerie you have.

I haven’t mentioned the thong so far for a very good reason. It sucks. It was a huge disappointment next to the chemise and robe. It fits well enough, but the elastics are too small for the amount of fabric, so it bunches and makes a pouch instead of laying flat. Not flattering. I have another black satin thong, but the chemise looks perfect without anything underneath it.

My partner loved when I came back from the bathroom in this…At least I think that’s what a wide-eyed “Wow” means. Sadly, I didn’t get to wear it for much longer.

This set will remain a favorite of mine for a while. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who likes to get dressed up for their partner. It’s a great deal for a gorgeous chemise and a versatile robe at just $30. Since there’s no breast support, it might not be a good option for those better endowed than me. The sizing is simple, so it would make a great gift.

I’m having a hard time taking away a whole star for the thong sucking, so I’m gonna give it a 4 ½.
