If you have the right figure, this set will look amazing on you. Unfortunately for the rest of us? It's just a wee bit lackluster.

It came wrapped in pink tissue paper, with just the manufacturer tag on it. There's a small blag tag on the inside of the bustier that blends in so well I thought it wasn't even there at first. It tells you that your set is 100% polyester exclusive of the trim/decoration (watch yourself around open flames) and should be machine washed cold with like colors and line dried, with care taken not to twist or wring.

It comes in three different sizes; small, medium, and large. I got the small which to Fantasy Lingerie would mean that I should be between a size 6-8, with a 35-37" bust, a 26 1/2-28 1/2" waist, and 37 1/2"-39 1/2" hips. . Personally I'm about 5'2, size 4/6, I weigh about 115, around my bust measures about 32" and underneath measures about 28 1/2". I've got about a 29" waist with 34" hips, 38" around my butt, and I wear a B cup. I do believe that the bust will fit the upper end (and if not some bra extenders can make that happen), and there should be no problem with the waist since it's stretchy. I'm half an inch bigger in the waist than the recommended measurements and there was plenty of room. The thong however is a different story. It'll barely fit the smaller end, and will probably cut in some.

What you're getting here is a bustier and matching thong. If it laced up the back for adjustment, you could call it a corset, but since it's closer to an overgrown bra? It's a bustier. There are a total of 6 pieces of plastic boning separating a total of 7 panels. A 7th piece of boning is metal and comes off of the underwire cups and dips down in the front of the chest, creating a dramatic V neck sort of look. It comes down about 5", leaving an additional 5 1/2" until the bottom of the piece. The cups aren't padded at all, and the underwire prevents you from comfortably being able to wear a padded bra if you want a little more oomph in the cups. Smaller breasts aren't going to fill the cups out at all and you'll be left with extra fabric folding over on itself some, almost looking like you're channeling Madonna. Your breasts will have some support, but the metal boning between the cups likes to make the cups travel upwards some, so if you really need the support, you should look elsewhere. The whole front of your torso and a small V on the back will feature a "nude" colored fabric with a black floral lace over it. Along the top of the cups and along the bottom of the bustier are black ruffles. Under the bust line it measures about 26 1/2" across from the hook to the first set of eyes, and stretches to about 31". It closes in the back with a set of double hook and eyes and is about 10" tall. It also has adjustable, but not removable, straps.

The thong looks pretty and isn't terribly uncomfortable if it fits you. Laying flat it measures about 13" across and stretches up to about 17", but at that point you'll have it digging into your skin. When I first went to pull them on, I had a hard time getting them over my hips, which are about 38" around at their widest. It sat on that point fairly comfortably, but did dig in some and didn't leave much room for my fingers to bring it up farther. Higher up on my hips is about 34" around and it sat comfortably and didn't dig in. It features the same design features as the bustier does, with the "nude" colored fabric with black floral lace as the single panel that makes up the thong. Along the top in both the front and the back you have the same black ruffles as the top. The front measures about 5" across the top and does an adequate job of covering everything. It narrows down to about 1 1/2" in the crotch portion and flares back out to about 3 1/4" in the back. There isn't a crotch liner to speak of, but the fabric should do an adequate job of catching fluids if you want to wear it for an extended period of time.

In the pictures below, it looks like it's on sort of lopsided, at least to me anyway.

Everything was really stretchy and soft to the touch, but the set just hasn't found a way to win me over. The thong runs pretty small, and the only redeeming part of the top for me was that it looked good on my stomach. My breasts don't look good in the cups at all, and unless I stand straight up the V rides up and the underwire ends up partway up my boobs.

When I first saw this, I went back and forth on it for a while. I really liked the concept, but it also looked like something that was only going to work for the right body type. I usually have luck with stuff like this, but with this one, apparently not. If I had C cups, it would probably look stunning, but I don't, so it looks like I'm a kid trying on my mom's bra to feel older. Not terribly sexy to me, and while my husband thinks I look great in everything, he definitely saw how unhappy I was while wearing this. It isn't the worst thing ever, but I don't think I'll be wearing it again.
