This is a beautiful chiffon-like piece of lingerie--it is forgiving and has lots of stretch. Although it only comes in small and medium, (I ordered the medium), it can accommodate large and even extra-large sizes. It depends where your weight is located. Large breasts? This is for you. Thick in the middle, not so much for you. The colors are a very light ivory and a true lavender with pink ribbons.

I measure: size 12/14; C/D cup; chest--40"; waist--35" and hips of 41" and I weigh 150lbs. Escante lists their medium as size 6--10, B/C; chest--34--36"; waist--28--30"; hips--32--34" and weight of 120--140 lbs. This leaves me out in the cold with this Escante gown...but does it? Not really. The skirt is like a dancer's costume, it flows and moves nicely. It also covers any thigh/tummy issues you may be concerned about. The cups hold my breasts beautifully and the girls are quite comfy. There is nice cleavage, but nothing is spilling out, giving you plenty of ribbon to wrap and tie. The same style ribbon is attached to the upper cups and is tied behind the neck (halter style).

The measurements for this piece are: cups: 9" X 6" with gathering at the bottom, giving you extra room; the lavender lace middle section measures 7.5" X 14" (unstretched)--the pink ribbon that wraps around the waist and ties in a bow is 1" X 73"--The thong front measures 6.5" X 5.5" and tapers to 2.75" X 2". It has a plain, narrow elastic waist and thong piece through the crotch. The elastic waist is 12" unstretched with plenty of stretch room. The skirt is 10" long if you include the 2 layers.

Although I am way out of the medium size, I was able to comfortably get into this and actually look pretty good. I think that on me, it looks better without the ribbon which calls attention to my rather thick middle. I am still on the fence about keeping this or passing it on because I am worried that I am stretching the middle part and I may bust the seams. It is well made, and I feel comfortable wearing it, but how much can this piece take?

The g-string is well made with a tiny cotton liner. It will fit women from medium to extra large sizes easily and comfortably. The cups are self lined and although sheer, I could not see my nipples.

The material is 91% nylon and 9% elastane, and as with most lingerie, hand washing and line drying is recommended.

I should not have worn this because even though it is very stretch, I think I pushed the boundaries. I just wish they had a large available. It must be going out of season and it can't be re-ordered because it would be a winner if available.
