Fence net thigh high - thigh highs discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Gardenvy

The fence net thigh highs from Leg Avenue are a fashion statement, without being risqué. A more subtle, and refined, sexy diva fashion statement.
They quite possibly go with any and every outfit or lingerie ensemble, and are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. I wear mine often for lunch meetings, day time events, and also in the boudoir!

These thigh highs came in the normal Leg Avenue cardboard and plastic envelope style package. Nothing too special. They feature fence net, which is much larger than their well know fishnet counterpart, and they also have a 2" control top. The control top itself is comfortable, but that really depends on your body type.
The package states that these thigh highs will fit a person from 90-160 pounds.

I do not agree with that statement.

I am about 120 and 5'8", and find that they fit fine in the thigh area. After prolonged use they loosen a little, which is why I wear these with a garter belt.
But, the garter is not necessary to wear, if you do not like to wear them, because these stockings stay up just fine without one. I happen to love the look of a garter (and pretty much all lingerie), so I wear one.
What I foresee is that if you happen have a larger thigh or are heavier than approx 140 pounds, you may just find these thigh highs to be uncomfortable fitting. Then again, that is only my speculation. The fact that they loosen though, may just be helpful for those with a larger thigh.

The toe, unfortunately, is not reinforced on these thigh highs and your ten little piggys have a tendency to poke through. Which surprisingly is not uncomfortable, so it's all good.

When it comes time for you to wash these fence nets, or any stockings for that matter, I recommend that you either hand wash with a special lingerie wash, or invest in a zip up lingerie pouch for machine washing, and also invest in a nice laundry detergent with no dyes or bleach. I use organic laundry detergent.
I've always washed my nylons and stockings in a zip up lingerie pouch and I have never experienced a problem. Either method of cleaning that you choose, you must hang dry.
Do not put these in the dryer.

I really love these, wear both the black and the nude often, and like that they are different than the traditional fishnet. My partner loves the look of these on me, so I'll probably be purchasing them again in a different color.
Like I said before, these are not really one size fits most and will probably fit someone no heavier than 140-150 lbs.
Because these do not have reinforced toes and do not fit the sizes stated on the package, I am giving them a 4 star rating. If they had a reinforced toe, I could see giving them a 5 star rating.
