Thigh highs with ruffles and bows - thigh highs discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by ArcaneBlast

I love thigh highs, they don't look school girlish and you can wear garters with them for high sex appeal. These are also great for making your legs look smooth and hide flaws really well, especially since they're opaque. If you don't shave your legs, this will hide leg hair as well.

These are nice and thick, so they won't rip, snag, or tear as easily as a lot of socks like these. They're stretchy and durable, but they don't stretch too much so they might be more prone to tearing for plus sized people. I think these are really cute with bows, but I wish the bows were on the back instead of the front which would look a lot cuter. I would say that these fit well and can be held up without garters for a normal size person, even mildly petite people! With a garter, it won't penetrate well through the ruffle, but if you attach it lower, it should fit well. Usually I don't see such a thick opaque ruffle, but this is done really well and nicer than sheer crinoline-ish ruffles!

I'm 5'2" and these go up mid-thigh, and can stretch up higher, so taller people are in the clear on this one. As a smaller girl, I'm not too sure if these will muffin-top, but when this stretches, it doesn't tighten as much as a rubber band so I doubt it. I'm not a big fan of OSFM since it fits most of what the 'ideal' size is, but these seem to fit most from its stretchiness when it comes to larger sizes, but super petite women these might not flatter.

Like most sheer socks, these should only be handwashed as a nylon/spandex mix doesn't do well with heat, and even durable socks will rip eventually in a rough and tumble washing machine. Also, please don't iron these, they're too nice and cute to break!
