Lace bustle skirt - skirt discontinued by Coquette - review by WetJenn

I ordered this skirt on a whim, expecting it not to fit. It did fit, but is really teeny tiny. It is not a skirt I can wear alone. It needs to have at least some tights underneath it. My private parts peek out, so if you have a butt or hips expect it to happen to you also. I wear a size 13-15 in blue jeans and bought the largest size they offer.

The skirt is super short. It is a micro mini. It does not cover much. I would be very careful sitting in this since it is so small. The material of the skirt is slightly stretchy. It is snug without being suffocating.

The garters on the skirt are a nice length and quality garters. They can be worn on the skirt or pulled off deppending on your preference. I prefer the skirt without them, since I can not wear it as just a skirt.

The train on the back is full and looks great. It is thicker tulle and keeps a nice shape on its own. It does not hang limply from the the skirt and has a nice poof. It has two layers. One layer is slightly longer then the next, giving it a layered look and more fullness. It comes around the butt almost covering the whole front of you hips. The material is an itchy material, but since it does not really touch you unless you are sitting that is not a problem.

There is a lace up ribbon on the upper back part of the skirt that adds to the detail of it. It looks nices, but does not have any real function to wearing the outfit. They do not make the skirt tighter or looser, the black ribbon is there just for show.

This outfit held up well over time and was completely as described. The lace has not torn after a couple of wearing, which in my opinion is great. I would recommend it.
