All Up in My Junk

These lacy crotchless panties look way better than they feel. Wearing them seems to be pretty close to an eternal camel toe, which is very uncomfortable. The fabric is pretty soft and stretchy, though too much stretching causes little strands of elastic to start hanging out all over them. I also had to cut off quite a few long threads on these before I wore them.

extremely useful review
After purchasing a few pieces of lingerie that either didn’t come with a bottom or just had a plain thong bottom, I decided I’d give this pair of crotchless panties a try. I ordered two pairs, one in black and one in pink. While these fulfill their role of sexy panties, I don’t think they’ll ever be something I can actually wear out. For this review, I’m focusing on the black pair of panties.

These crotchless panties come packaged in a plastic wrapper. A Coquette tag is attached with a safety pin. None of the packaging has any information on it really, though I suppose these are pretty self-explanatory. The tag simply shows front and back views of the panty, and has a UPC bar code on the back.

The actual panty itself is okay in quality. It’s all made out of a lacey fabric of 100% nylon. The fabric is very soft and stretchy. However, as with other stretchy lace-type materials, this does get loose strands of elastic hanging out everywhere, which looks like black hairs. After just one wear, these don’t look all that great up close. There are strands of elastic hanging out everywhere, as well as some loose threads. I didn’t wear these for more than 20 minutes and I didn’t even really do much moving around. I can’t imagine what these would look like after wearing them all day at work or something.

These are built as a lace panty with a lace trim around the waist and the legs. The panty fabric stops at the crotch on both the front and back, so it’s just the trim that actually goes around. There is a gap about 5 inches long between the trim, making these crotchless. The crotch area of my pair really bugs me. It doesn’t look like the trim was sewn so that the fabric lays flat. One seam on one leg lays perfectly flat and on the inside of the panty, while the other side looks like it got twisted up before it was sewn, making the seam want to be on the outside of the panty. Think of this as being similar to a seatbelt in a car being twisted around. I absolutely cannot stand my seatbelt being twisted, and the same can be said for this panty. The front of the panty has a small black bow. I haven’t had any issues with it unraveling or anything. It actually looks better than the rest of the panty.

As is typical in women’s underwear, there are three tags right in the back butt crack region of these. The tags display the fabric content, size, and washing instructions, as well as brand. I hate having tags in that spot of my underwear, so I cut the one tag out. I left the Coquette and size tags in, though. Those two feel much softer than the third tag, since they are made out of a soft ribbon. The fabric content and washing instruction tag is made out of that typical weird, irritating stuff that is like paper and plastic in one piece. These panties are made in China. I also had to cut off quite a few long threads all over these.

I ordered size medium, which is the size I typically wear in underwear. As far as number sizes go, these are about the same size as size 6 underwear. According to Coquette’s size chart, these should fit sizes 8-10, with hips between 38 and 40 inches. The top of where these panties sit when I am wearing them is about 36 inches around. The widest area over my butt is about 37 inches around. Without stretching them, these measure 28 inches around the top band. Stretching them to their maximum, these measure just over 40 inches around. These fit comfortably, though they didn’t feel like they had enough room or stretch to go all terribly too much bigger. Those at the larger end of the measurements for each size should probably go a size up.

Experience
As far as comfort goes, these aren’t the greatest. I typically do not wear lacy underwear. I prefer cotton bikinis or boy shorts over sexy panties, just because they’re more comfortable and they stay put, i.e., out of my butt crack. While the fabric isn’t tight and has enough stretch to easily fit on me, these somehow manage to wedge themselves into everything. Just moving my legs for a couple of minutes, I had to yank these out of my crotch. I tried ignoring them for a few minutes, until they got themselves so scrunched up that they actually started irritating my clitoris pretty bad. The open crotch lined up pretty well with my body. Once something was actually going between the lace trim, the underwear got a little more comfortable and stayed where I wanted them. I’d have to say the style of these panties is a cheeky low-cut bikini. As shown in the pictures on the product page, these don’t sit very high up. And the back doesn’t fully cover my butt, either. Unlike other underwear, these thankfully do not slip down a lot, probably because they already sit pretty low. They did feel comfortable around my hips. I didn’t notice any red marks on my skin after wearing these. Overall, I’d rate these as a terrible day-wear panty.

Washing these is pretty simple. They should be hand washed with a gentle detergent, such as Woolite. If your washing machine has a gentle/hand wash cycle, that may work, too. I would recommend using a mesh lingerie bag in the washing machine, so these don’t snag on anything. After washing my pair, I didn’t notice any leftover stains from lubes or anything. To dry them, simply hang them up to drip dry. Don’t wring them out, as that will cause quite a bit of wear on them. Washing them and wringing them out a few times would probably cause even more of the elastic strands to stand out. After I have washed and dried these, I just fold them and put them in my underwear drawer. I don’t really think the original packaging is worth saving to store these in.

Based on my personal preferences, I would not recommend these panties to anyone, just because of how uncomfortable these are. Though, I do wear the most comfortable cotton underwear I can find and I don’t particularly care about appearances. If you typically wear thongs or sexier styled underwear, these may be more comfortable for you. I feel the price is a bit high compared to the quality. Looking at these and seeing all the stretchy strands hanging off in all directions bothers me, even though you do kind of have to look closely to see them.
Follow-up commentary
I still don't care for the black pair of crotchless panties. They aren't very comfortable. When I go to wear a pair of these, I usually put on the pink ones, since they aren't sewn all weird. Both pairs have held up well after several runs through the washer in a lingerie bag. The black pair does have a lot of elastic all over it that sticks out like hairs, from me wearing them, which is weird since these don't have to stretch all too much to fit.

I find that with items like this, it is a hit or miss. Sometimes it is a great experience and sometimes not so great. Too bad they weren't comfortable. I hate that feeling of something being twisted too! Great review, despite the bad experience!

For review purposes you used the black pair, but did you find the same issue with the other pair as well, as far as the way it was made?

The pink pair actually looks a little better made. It doesn't have the weird twisting in the crotch, so it actually lays comfortably flat. Even though they are crotchless, the trim around the hole actually pushes out so that it gives comfortable coverage, rather than gathering itself up and getting wedged in where it shouldn't.

Great review! ...I didn't like these either, I felt the elastic band at the top was so cheap, and the crotchless part was just not comfortable.
