Nude four-way convertible bra - bra discontinued by Baci - review by Squidget

This was my first assignment here at Eden, so I was really excited to receive this bra! Even without being assigned, one really can't beat the price. One disappointing thing about the bra was that it wasn't available in 34A, which is my size. I ordered a 32B (sometimes they fit) and hoped for the best.

It arrived on time and was meticulously wrapped in order to keep the shape of the bra. It was wrapped in hot pink tissue paper. Under that, it was wrapped in a clear plastic sleeve with the word "Baci" printed all over it. It looked elegant. Within the plastic bag was the bra wrapped in white tissue paper. The cups of the bra had also been stuffed so that the bra didn't lose its shape in the mail. I was impressed with the care of the packaging and the fact that my bra arrived in perfect condition.





The bra itself is a 90% Polyester/ 10% Spandex blend. It has removable/adjustable straps, so one could wear this as a strapless bra, as a regular bra, or with crossed straps. I tend to have trouble with keeping my bra straps from slipping, but these stayed up, surprisingly. I think this has to do with the fact that it seems like the straps are closer to the center of the chest than most bras. This was weird at first, since it reminded me of suspenders or something, but I like the design. It has a hook-and-eye enclosure, much like any other bra. The inside of the bra is also lined with some sort of rubber along the edges to keep the bra from slipping. I wore the bra around without straps for an hour or two and didn’t notice any significant drooping.







The care instructions say: Hand wash warm. Do not bleach. Wash colors seperately. Line dry. Since I live in a dorm, hand-washing and line-drying aren't really in the cards for me. I may just wash/dry it as I do normally and see how it turns out. I'll put the results in my follow-up review.

After wearing this bra all day, I am pleased. There aren’t really any noticeable seams or decorations, so it didn’t show through my t-shirt. It was really comfortable, didn’t seem to hold in sweat, and stays where it’s supposed to. I only have some very minor complaints. It isn’t really a sexy bra at all, especially in the color nude. It’s a nice bra, surely, but I wouldn’t wear it to seduce anyone. It has molded cups and underwire but seems primarily built to fit under t-shirts or blouses that aren’t low cut. The bottom of the bra bunches up a bit, which isn’t really uncomfortable, but is a little annoying. Finally, the way the bra is cut creates a bulge somewhat on the side, which doesn’t show through clothing but is somewhat unflattering (shown in picture below).



All in all, I'm happy with this bra and would recommend it. After all, some of my issues with it may just because I chose to go up a cup size and down a band size since they didn't have a 34A bra in this style.

This bra has been through the laundry a few times, and it's still going strong. It's still got its shape and is still comfortable. I can't really wear it with low cut shirts, but it goes great with regular t-shirts or strapless tops. It also still holds up well without straps. I wear it regularly!
