What is it?:

The Black Lace and Mesh Thong by Baci Lingerie is a sexy little panty that can be worn under clothing anywhere you feel like rocking it or you can wear them paired with a sexy black lace bra or some cute pasties to get your partner's motor going. This thong is mesh, therefore see through, so keep that in mind when deciding where to wear these, etc.

This particular thong is offered in baby blue (currently out of stock) and black and sizes Small, Medium and Large. A similar thong also by Baci can be found here on Edenfantasys for the same price, $5.99.

Material: 90% Nylon, 10% Spandex

Nylons are generally strong, tough, and resilient polymers which offer good barrier and high fatigue properties. They are hypo-allergenic and offer good resistance to oils, greases and solvents. They have good resistance to a wide range of chemicals and a high abrasion and weathering resistance.

Spandex is very strong and durable material, able to be stretched repetitively and still recover original length. It is resistant to body oils, perspiration, lotions, and detergents with no static or pilling problems.

The thong feels generally smooth with the mesh being the most textured feeling part of it and the entire thong is pretty stretchy but the mesh crotch area is less stretchy than the rest of it. The black lace is nice looking floral lace and the mesh is just plain black mesh with small holes, as is typical. The only smell to the thong upon opening is one of new clothing which will wash out quite easily.

Design: All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat

The 2 1/2" thick lacy waistband, when measured from side to side, is about 13 1/2" and will stretch easily up to 21 1/2". The top half of the mesh crotch is about 3" wide and it tapers down to just under 1 1/2" wide at the bottom. The length of the mesh crotch from top to bottom is 4 1/2" and the back side of the mesh portion is about the same length. There is a liner, but at only 2" long and 1" wide, you should not expect it to catch much discharge so beware leaking while wearing.

There is a white tag sewn into the inside back of the waistband that has the Baci logo, size, "Made in China", materials and washing instructions on it. All the seams are sewn well but there are strings sticking out here and there and the mesh section has a lot of leftover material sticking out. They could have spent a little extra time to cut off the extra material but for whatever reason they didn't and it leaves the thong looking mighty cheap and poorly constructed.

Granted all my measurements fit into the Baci size chart but this thong just refuses to fit me properly. The rise portion is where this thong falls short, quite literally. Now this may be because my bum is meatier than the model's pictured on Baci's product pages but ordering up a size may prevent this problem since it was the only fit issue I encountered. Other than that these seem to be pretty comfortable if you don't mind the super tiny 2" panty liner.

Storing, Care & Packaging:

To store the thong just it in your lingerie drawer or stick it in a lingerie envelope or other storage bag before putting it away in a drawer, on a shelf or in your closet.

The tag says you can machine wash this thong in warm water, separately, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed and tumble dry low. Personally I would hand wash these in cold water and lay flat or hang to dry like I do with all my other lacy, delicate lingerie and panties. Do not iron or dry clean this thong.

This thong was folded up on a cardboard insert that was placed in a resealable cellophane bag. The front of the cardboard insert has the Baci logo and website listed on it and a nice floral pattern in the background. The back of the insert says, "Congratulations, you have purchased a truly authentic Baci Lingerie product" in 27 different languages on top of the same floral pattern as the front. All of this was contained inside a cardboard envelope with a model on the front and back wearing the thong and other lingerie bits. Due to this, the packaging is not discreet and should be wrapped if gifting and recycled wherever possible.

This thong never fit me properly so it hasn't gotten much wear or washing and I can't really comment on how well it would have held up to such things. Sadly Baci just doesn't stand very well in my eyes so far.
