Handcuff honey - costume discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by indiechick

So I may have had a little bit TOO much fun in this costume (see experience) therefore there are no photos right now, gotta wait til we clean the dress, I promise that they will come but for now I'll just keep it simple. The dress arrived in Leg Avenue packaging in the plastic bag with the small hanger that allows it to hang on racks at halloween retail locations. Because of this the dress needed to be let to hang over night to come into its own in regards to shape: Let the tutu be open and full.

Intended use:
Dress up time for role playing and for costume parties specifically halloween. And of course for making your partner swoon.

Material:
TOP:
Polyester and spandex--> Shinny but not too shinny. It is stretchy enough that I could have worn a much more padded bra that would have taken me up to a DD (thank you victoria's secret) and it still would have fit.
Skirt:
Tule tutu is exactly what you would expect it to feel like. A little scratchy against bar skin. But full and wonderful.
Cuffs:
Plastic cuffs with easy releases and plastic keys Nothing special but super light weight. I switched them out for a pair of my own that I could have more fun with.
Hat:
Polyester and plastic. It has the same adjustments that the back of a baseball cap has, though I think that someone with a small head my struggle with it as it runs big.
Badge:
Plastic with metal pin. Cheaply made, but what do you expect?
Sizing:
I ordered a SM
Sm/Med 5 - 8 A - B 32 - 36 23 - 27 34 - 38
I am a size 6 with 34B cups and about an equal waist. For those of you who know me you know i do not share my measurements beyond that. Like I said early it could have accommodated a much larger cup size and because of the TUTU length a women with a greater hip could also easily wear this dress.

Cleaning:
Umm....If it works I'll let you know. I've got just the top half soaking in a 1 tablespoon to 5 gallon drum of water mixture. I put the tutu end into a large bag and put an elastic band around the bag and wrapped it over the edge of the drum to keep it dry as I don't know how it would clean up. The rest of the dress is soaking to remove rum and vodka from the dress, mostly the smell. Again if it works I will certainly let you know.

AMAZING! As the title expresses I wore this in a costume contest with riding boots, black fishnets and black booty shorts I swapped out the plastic cuffs for my own metal variety and took home a $75 bar tab on the house at my favorite place. I may have had a little bit too much fun that night however because of that tab which is why there are not photos as the dress is in need of a cleaning.

I will always love this costume if for no other reason than it won me $75 on Halloween weekend. Beyond that I have worn it for a costume party and continue to get compliments on it. Though I do recommend investing in those "chicken cutlets" that stick on because it will make you way more comfortable for the entire evening so you aren't worried about popping out
