Fence net thigh high - hosiery by Leg Avenue - review by Dawn (Lilac Distraction)

Summary

These fence net thigh highs by Leg Avenue are great for those who dare to bare a little extra skin. I've always loved the look of the wider netting of these kinds of stockings. However, finding thigh highs that actually fit me can be a major hassle. I weigh about 105. I'm a size 0 and I have short legs for my 5'4 frame. Most of the time, thigh highs fall down because the band is too lose, or end up coming up right under my butt before they are stretched tight enough to look good.

Sizing

I hurriedly got these out of the package and tried them on. I was expecting them to be just like most of my thigh highs and end up too long or too loose. Boy, was I wrong! The sizing on these stockings runs from 90-160 lbs. They fit me nicely, didn't have to be pulled all the way up to my buttcheeks to look good, and they stayed put! They are a bit smaller than average thigh highs, so those with larger legs might find them to be a little tight. Petite women will rejoice!

Material/Color

I got these because they are an awesome shade of electric blue. They are quite similar to the color in the pictures. They're a bit more electric blue than a royal. I'm highly pleased with them because I have a blue fetish. They are made of nylon and are super stretchy. These fishnets may be a bit more durable than other ones because there is less area for them to snag on. They're not the highest quality, but are an a very affordable price. Some parts on the band have loose edges, but it doesn't really become an issue when wearing them.

Wearability

These stockings are super comfortable. The band at the top is about 2" wide, so it provides a nice snug fit. The band also won't roll on you like some others do. The material is nice and snug, has a perfect amount of stretch to accommodate various leg sizes. These things are so comfortable that I never want to take them off. The toe is not reinforced, so the netting does go between your toes. This isn't much of a problem and is an advantage when wearing open toed heels. If you don't want anything between your toes, throw on some of those shoe liners meant to wear with flats. (These can easily be found at places like Wal-Mart)

Overall Impression

I love these stockings to death! I wish they came in a wider range of colors because I would end up collecting them all.

I can't believe these are discontinued! I really would have loved to buy another pair just in case anything happened to these! They're my favorite pair of stockings that I own. Nothing can compare to the bright, royal blue color. Now I'm on a mission to find other things that match these!
