FIRST IMPRESSION & PACKAGING:
The Pin Up Corset arrived in the typical pink tissue paper wrapping. When I opened it up I was awestruck! The picture on Edens makes the material look kind of flimsy and plain. The material is actually very beautiful and much nicer than it appears in the picture. The striped side is a shimmery, dusky, smoky, bright rose with a black black stripe. The reverse side is black satin with bright pink satin boning covers. I could not wait to try it on and see how it looked. This is perfect for wearing out or seducing your partner!!

SIZING:
I was seriously surprised when I put this on and it was large around my waist. Immediately I ran to the scale, but no, I have not lost any weight. The breast area was a bit loose but was adjustable by lacing the back tight and adjusting the shoulder straps. The waist is fully tightened and is a bit loose and the upper hip area is also a bit large. I ordered a Size 38, however I might end up sending this back and getting a size smaller.
My measurements: 43D Breast, 32 Waist, 41 Hips and I weigh 150 lbs.

MATERIAL & CARE:
The material is 95% polyester and 5% Spandex. The boning is plastic and is very flexible, not form shaping. On the striped side, the boning is encased in the black satin look material and on the black side it is encased in a very vivid pink satin material. The garter straps are elastic with plastic hooks. The shoulder straps are polyester and have no stretchiness, they do have bra-style adjusters for your comfort and fit. There are 14 small, bra-style hooks up the front and a black satin lacing in the back. The ends are cut diagonally, not finished, and I did knot the ends to keep them from fraying.

The cleaning instructions tell you to dry clean only. I hand washed this in Woolite and let it air dry overnight. This worked out very well and I have not noticed any damage to the materials. I would not put his garment in a washer or dryer. I did, however, use a lightly warm iron on both sides but placed a towel between the iron and the corset.

APPEARANCE & QUALITY:
The corset is full reversible and looks amazing on both sides. The backwards hooks on the black side out takes a bit of practice, but you really get two separate looking sides with this corset. The sheer netting that is ruched on the top adds a sexy cover for the upper cleavage and the smaller back adds more shaping to the garment. There is no privacy panel in the front, but that is fixable by adding a lace panel to the inside using safety pins.

The quality is good. There were a couple of long threads on the top lace trim and along the bottom hem. Nothing to lose stars over, but I still cut them off. The garter and shoulder straps are removable, along with the bows pinned above them. I do not wear things, but his one looks nice and does have a cotton liner. The stockings are made out of a sturdy nylon, look wonderful and fit like a dream. I am very impressed with the quality and potential durability of these stockings. They remind me of the good, expensive control top nylon material. Not the panty, but the legs.

I lost my boning!! All the plastic boning started poking through the material, so I ended up cutting them out. I am replacing them with metal boning, there is a corset supply company I found by searching 'corset boning'. You can purchase rolls of plastic, wire or metal boning or custom sizes.

I still love this corset and now I know I can buy and replace the plastic boning with good metal ones, I am going to keep a supply on hand. I would still buy this one again even though the bones fell out. It is amazingly beautiful and will work again as a corset, not a tank top. It does make a wonderful tank without the bones, though.
