Mesh and lace bustier - bustier discontinued by Coquette - review by Cori

This beautiful bustier from Coquette is a great addition to anyone's lingerie collection. It's comfortable, soft, and stretches for a nice form-fit.

Sizing: I wear a 34B bra, with a 29 inch waist. I ordered a small and I found that it fit like a glove. Those will smaller breasts, like myself, will rejoice...the stretchy material won't bunch or sag. And the stretchy material should work well for those with larger breasts as well. I have an average-sized torso and the bustier fell just above my hips, as it's shown in the picture with the model.



Material: The body is the bustier is constructed with lace and mesh. It's very soft, stretchy, and comfortable. The cups, front piece, and back piece are purple mesh. The side pieces accent that pretty color with black lace. Lace also adorns the top of the cups. The lace is not at all itchy, which is a huge plus! The bottom of the bustier is accented with lightly ruffled lace and the center of the bust features a small black bow.

There is plastic boning along the stomach piece and underneath the cups. The thing to remember about this material is that while yes it's a bustier this will NOT hold you in. If you want a major tucked in tummy, look at a stronger material bustier or corset.



On the back center of the bustier, you will find a hook and eye closure with two available eyes for a more custom fit. The straps are adjustable and this top also comes with removable garters.

The garters will serve their purpose but they are simply made with plastic and rubber.

The G-string and stockings do NOT come with this bustier so keep that in mind when ordering.

Washing/Care: I would recommend hand washing with cold water or spot washing. However, if you're reckless like me, I tossed this in the washer on a cold/delicate cycle in a lingerie bag. I hung the top to dry and it came out just fine. This piece is easily folded and will take up very little space in a drawer or hung up in a closet.



Overall, I really love being able to grab this bustier out of the closet with a mesh G-string and some solid stockings and voila! I feel feminine without a fuss over myself. The frills and bows are at a minimum and add just enough to make the piece pretty. I would like if the top was longer but I still think it is very well-made and sexy. A winner!
