Romance cami and panty - sexy camisole by Seven 'til Midnight - review by K101

This set comes with a basic fitting camisole and pair of panties. Both items are a basic, simple fit, but the fun vibrant blue on white looks lovely, and the see-through mesh adds a whole lot of sexy on top. Satiny blue bows, tulle ruffle and lace trim make this feminine while the sexy fit allows some maturity to an otherwise very teenage girl-looking set.




Let's Talk Design
The camisole is basically a straight across cut in the back and at the hem. It's form-fitting and clingy, not loose and flowy. The cups are gathered and have no underwire or any support other than the elastic running under the bust. This elastic runs under the bust, is at the top of the back and lines the cups.
The hem has a tulle, blue ruffle trim.



The camisole slips on over your head and feautures two great, stretchy and adjustable bra straps. Lace trim lines triangle cups & the under bust. Three beautiful, satiny-blue bows decorate the straps and between cups.

Note: The straps weren't trimmed where they were sewn together (see photo.)

Material & Care
92% Polyester, 8% Spandex.
The cami and panties are made of the exact same materials. They're not fine mesh, but more see through mesh. The entire camisole is white with blue accents (mentioned above.) The mesh set is somewhat stretchy, but this is a piece you should try for correct sizing for the most comfort. Like I said, it clings.

It's soft to the touch, not scratchy and the lace & tulle ruffle doesn't ever bother me, even when these are worn as undergarments. More good news is the mesh is not easily snaggable by hang nails and the like, so it's pretty durable.

Hand wash cold. No bleach or ironing. Line dry.


Cami's Measurements
Cups: 5" long and 5" wide.
Waist: 13" across. Entire body of cami measures 13" wide.
From top of cups to hem: 16" long.
Entire length from top of back to hem: 10 1/2" or 11 1/2" including blue tulle ruffle trim at bottom.

Adjustable straps are 16" at longest and 9" at shortest. They're nice and thick, durable and stretchy. Everything is good quality, but some might want to know that the bows have loose threads.

There's more than an inch and a half of open space between cups, which I really like because some tops, like the Charlotte babydoll are sewed right together between the bust and that doesn't allow the best fit, is too close together.




Panties' Measurements:
Waist: 12".
Front across crotch: 5".
Actual crotch, where liner is: 2" across.
Butt: 11" across at widest.
Length (for front and back) including lace trim: 5".
Leg holes: 9".

The panties mesh white on the front and blue on back. They are full-back & have a cotton crotch liner. These are comfortable and breathable. They provide full coverage in front and back, and look nice on.

Detail consists of a ruched butt and a satiny blue bow on the front as well as lace trim lining the waist, all matching the cami.

Elastic runs the waist and legs of the panties.


I have the size S/M, and it fits well and will stretch to fit even a size medium completely, but won't be as comfortable on larger sizes. I wouldn't like it any smaller for me because it's a little short and would be too clingy then. Unless you want it tight, I'd order up a size if your measurements are larger than a few inches bigger than what is listed in my review here. The panties would likely fit a large even. Since the camisole is short, longer people may want to consider going up a size.

Packaging
This came wrapped in plastic cellophane. The tag does have a photo of someone wearing it, so it's not gift-worthy unless that is removed. It's a great set to toss in a gift basket to a sister or friend, provided the trashy tag is removed.

How It Fits Me

This is a nice, sexy little set. I like that it's comfortable enough for sleeping in, but still so revealing that my partner can't actually get a wink of sleep. I also enjoy being able to wear both pieces as actual undergarments.



*I wanted to show more about how this fits my own size/figure, but didn't want to expose myself, which is why my arms are trying to cover my chest in the photos, so I did what I could. Refer to my excessive amount of details for better understanding.*

In my photos, you can see where the middle has this rolling up problem. I think this is due to the top being cut too short and especially short in the back, where it doesn't cover the top middle of the back. I don't know why it does this, but it's somewhat ill-fitting. It just wants to gather right there, as you'll notice in my photos and it's not the prettiest thing.

Experience
I don't think I dislike this. I like it, but I just feel like the cami could've been made better to fit without acting funny. It's still sexy and feels so nice on! It's a great set of lingerie and would make a perfect first set for the girl who likes casual, but wants something see-through and sexy. I'm a little torn about it, but will definitely wear it when I don't want a lot of fancy in my lingerie, and it's a great around-the-house comfortable set, or for sleepwear.



This is another piece of lingerie that would make a lovely first set!
