Velveteen and powernet corset - corset discontinued by Coquette - review by actingbalanced

Overall, this is one of my favorite purchases from Eden Fantasys, but it isn't exactly what I expected when I ordered it.

This fits more snugly for the sizing than some of the other pieces of lingerie that I've purchased from EF, but overall it's one of my new favorite pieces. It is reasonably figure enhancing and I love that it is classy enough to be worn as clothing or as lingerie - I also love that it doesn't have any of that itchy lace or sequins to worry about. The feel was excellent and it's cut really well and it makes an excellent bustier style corset for dress up or as lingerie. This is my husband's favorite piece of lingerie on me and I get compliments from him whenever I wear it because it suits my figure and he thinks that classy and classic lingerie is better than some of the over the top pieces we've tried before.

As a proper corset it leaves a little to be desired - it is not really strong enough to do everything a true corset should and is not adjustable enough to get great shape. The 'boning' is plastic and quite flexible - more of a bustier than a true corset and it doesn't go completely around the entire piece. The hook and eye closure is quite sturdy, but for a corset I usually prefer lacing or some other way to create the form that I want.

It is comfortable enough to wear all day or all evening, but I wouldn't say that I'd want to fall asleep in it.

If you are looking for a classy piece of lingerie to add to your collection, I certainly recommend this piece, but if you are looking for a true corset, I would keep shopping.
