Black diamond net thigh high stockings - thigh highs discontinued by Coquette - review by ~LaUr3n~

I'm slowly trying different Coquette stockings. These were a better experience than the last two. These stockings look great on the legs, elongating them. They are also really comfortable and stretchy while remaining form fitted. The price is also great. They did arrive with a few flaws, but they are not that noticeable unless you're a perfectionist.

*Overview:

This pair of thigh high stockings are from Coquette. They are fence net size even though they say diamond netting. In my opinion and experience, diamond netting has much larger holes. The feet are reinforced with a macro netting.

They are available in black and red. They come in OS.

*Material: Soft, Flawed

Like the other Coquette stockings I got recently there isn't any material information on the packaging and there isn't a tag either. I believe they are made of nylon with a little bit of elastic/spandex. They are very stretchy but keep their shape pretty well, much better than Leg Avenue fishnets (bt those are half the price). They are not scratchy and are comfortable to wear. I did notice some flaws right away before even putting them on, but the small frays are hard to notice when worn.

*Design/craftsmanship: Flawed band

The top of the stockings have a 1" thick band. It's not the best construction so even hen it isn't stretched that far on the leg, it has a tendency to fold or roll a little. Mine never rolled completely over, however. It shows these used with garters in the picture. I had a hard time using the band to attach the garters to unless I took the whole band into the garter clasp.

Unstretched the top is only 4 1/2" across. It stretches a lot and goes back to its original size. Unstretched, they are about 23 1/2" long after putting them on once for only a few minutes. The last 1 1/2" are reinforced toeing.

There is no specific shaping to these stockings.

*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash, thin box

The stockings come folded on a cardstock. This is slid into a cardboard bi-fold and then slid into a resealable plastic bag. Hand wash them in cool water. Lay flat to dry. Don't iron them or expose them to high heat of a dryer.

*Sizing/Application: Good Os

These come in an OS. According to the size chart that will fit sizes 4-14. These will likely roll on the majority of that range if they are worn high up on the thigh. I can wear them where my thigh is about 21" without them creasing too bad, but I prefer to wear them almost up to my butt undershorts, a dress, or skirt. I got these for shorts mostly and for a future Halloween costume. Even though these don't stay flat, it's not uncomfortable or painful. It's not super tight either. It's the size of the band that causes the rolling, not the tightness.

I'm 5'6" and I'm able to pull these to right under my butt with no issues. They also don't look bad if I wear them low on my thigh, so these are good for a wide range of heights.

If only the band were a little longer... These would fit really well if that were the case. The other small issue is the flaws that I found right out of the package. The form to the leg well and seem to be able to stretch to a wide range of sizes.

I still like these stockings, but they have ripped in a few places. I really like how they fit and look, though, so I would buy them again.
