The Edenfantasys t-shirt is a wonderfully comfortable and breathable shirt that you can wear just about anywhere you'd like. You may even get some people asking about what it says and that could start a lot of interesting conversations. Beware the small sized neck hole that doesn't stretch much and the fact that this shirt has a tendency to shrink even more when washed and dried a few times. What is it?:
The Edenfantasys t-shirt is a black shirt with the Edenfantasys logo and a cute saying printed on the front and is available in Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, 2X and 3X. This shirt is very comfortable and it can be worn anywhere you would normally wear a t-shirt, be it in public, around the house, as a night shirt for sleeping in or any other situation you can think of.
Material:
This t-shirt is made from cotton which has good absorbency and good strength. Cotton is also a color retention, machine-washable and dry-cleanable material. It can stand up to washing, drying and sterilizing temperatures fairly well.
The cotton material feels very soft and snuggly, not too thin and is great for long periods of wear. It did have that new t-shirt smell when first opened but it has disappeared altogether since washing. Noticed that the shirt did shrink from its original size after a few washing/dryings so be sure to get it a size or two bigger to compensate.
Design: All measurements taken with the shirt laid flat
From the collar to the bottom of the front measures about 22 1/2" long and from the collar to the bottom of the back measures about 25" long. Across the front of the shirt at the waist line it measures about 16" and across the bottom hem it's about 18 1/2". The bottom also easily stretches about 5" at the most.
The collar is 7" from side to side and stretches about 2" so people with large heads beware, it doesn't stretch very much and it may get stuck on your head. From the side of the collar to the end of the sleeve it is just shy of 14" long.
This shirt only comes in black and has "I like things that go VROOM" and the Edenfantasys logo on the front. The back is plain with no printings of any kind and there is a small tag located on the inside back of the shirt in the middle that only indicates the size and nothing else. The printing on the front of the shirt is very bright and colorful making it very nice to look at and wear.
Sizing: True to size until washed and dried repeatedly

I chose a Medium for this t-shirt and it fit very well when I first received it but after washing and drying a few times it has shrunk enough to make me a little uncomfortable to wear it. I know it shrunk for a fact because I haven't gained any weight recently but I think the next time I'll go for a Large and see how that works out.

This shirt is still fun to wear although the printing is splitting and it shrank a little so it's not as long as I would like anymore. Other than that this shirt is holding up pretty well.

I normally wear a medium or a large. I ordered this shirt in XL so that I could wear it lounging and for sleep. Its so small though. It came about a medium or a small. Im afraid to wash it and see it shrink

I have three of these - one large, and two XL. The large was a bit snug, but the XL are fine, and have held up to repeated washings well.

There were actually a couple different types of EF shirts. The XL and larger shirts were sized a little smaller than expected, but the L and smaller shirts were right on with their sizes.

Why does it seem like I received one shirt made out of a thinner and softer material than the other shirts I received? Has anyone else experienced this?

The first was very thin, stretchy, and really a great shirt since it is sized so small. The second was a very thick material with no stretch to it at all! I cannot even get that one on, even though it should fit exactly like the first one I received. The third shirt is wearable, but again is thicker material than the first, at least this one has a bit more stretch to it than the second one!
I would wager a guess that they are ordering these made up using the "most cost effective" material available, which would account for the varied material (which ever one is cheaper to make that day).
I know that I was happy with the first one, so I ordered more to "modify" some of them as I had seen in a video here. As it stands now...I have one to hide in the closet, one to tuck away for "emergency t-shirt needs", and one I can actually wear and enjoy.
So long as they are offering these free with purchase, I may get a few more (they'll make good rags if nothing else), but I wouldn't spend the $15 asking price on them with the materials being so varied from order to order! -
