Garterbelt, thong and stocking - garter belt, panty and stockings set discontinued by DreamGirl - review by etoileknight

This is a great set...if you're the right size. Unfortunately, the "one size fits all" sizing isn't that accurate. The previous reviews from other users are absolutely correct on the top liner where you attach the garter. My thigh, where I pull the stocking to, is about fourteen inches. If you're much over that, the stretchy material (which I love) will be way too tight. Realizing this set is made for decoration over practical usage does lower the standards of quality. However, the "stay-up" band at the top of the stocking is completely disastrous for most people. Even with my tiny thighs, it still leaves marks. The hose isn't a bad set overall. They do rip and pull like any other stocking, but they feel fantastic, and the lace is really lovely.

The garter part of the set is one tiny (1/5cm) band of elastic that stretches and is attached to lace. It's very beautiful, but I wish it would have fit better. With the stockings at a reasonable level and garters attached, the belt pulls down. My waist is tiny (32in), but I feel that even larger waist sizes would have an issue holding up the garter belt. Because the garters are attached to the elastic band of the garter belt, it is noticeable that the garter belt doesn't fit properly and is pulled down.

The crotchless panties are cute. They are mesh with an adorable bow at the top. You really couldn't tell they were split on me, but for others, you probably can. It's very loose (I wear a small underwear, size 0 pants), but I could see the elastic being an issue for some - to the point of cutting into the skin. The tag does get in the way but can be cut off.

I haven't tried washing the set yet, and the package comes with no instructions on how to do so. Because it is lace, I would suggest a gentle wash with other lingerie or by hand, if necessary.
