Jewel G-string - g-string discontinued by Charm Wear - review by TheNaughtyKitchenWitch

I thought the Jeweled G-String was super cute so when it said it was a size OS/XL I thought no problem at all! I mean who wouldn't want to have jewels highlighting your behind? I normally wear an XL and thought I would have no problems.

The Jewel G-String arrived in a zip lock style bag which I thought was adorable. The bag is see through and makes it great for gifting or even storage if you are worried about it getting ruined in your dresser.

Right out of the package I could tell the jewel part was flimsy and most likely to break with any movement no matter WHAT size you are. The G-String its self is black with a mesh material, its made from 88% Nylon and 12% Spandex. It's made in China and the material is soft and stretchy. The tag states its gentle wash, do not use bleach, dry flat and iron on cool setting.


I tried it on and sure enough, the jewel chain on the back snapped with very little effort. The G-string actually fit well but the fact that the jewel string was so flimsy is what most likely caused it to snap.


After taking off the Jewel G-String I could really see how flimsy the product is. I could easily twist the chain in my hand and it even fell apart just my touching it in certain spots, it takes very little movement for it to just fall apart.

Overall its very cute and would make a cute gift for a bachelorette party but I don't see it being practical and I highly suggest not wearing it under clothing. The quality is a bit low and when the jewel chain snaps there are sharp edges that could possibly cause injury.

Since I had to throw these out after the first use I was not very impressed. They are definitely not plus size friendly.
