Cute, But Painful.

I more than likely will be staying away from sequins in the near future. I've been skeptical of them in the past, and sometimes they are just tacky. But the seam was rather painful, and has me nervous about putting a sequin cup on again.

While I'm typically not a fan of sequins, I decided to try out this babydoll. Something about the fluff at the end of the mesh was just too cute to pass up! I'm rather short (5'7"), so my body is a bit compact and my body is decently proportionate. I'm very slim at the waist, with wider hips, and narrower shoulders. I don't have an long torso nor hips. That being said, the babydoll fits as it should. I chose to wear a black and red lace bikini instead of the thong that is included. The thong that is included just didn't strike my interest (sequins on the crotch), though it did match accordingly.

The mesh fabric sits fantastically around my hips, just slightly above my crotch. The white fluff really stands out vibrantly against the black mesh, and is very soft to the touch. However there are a few spots that we're rather prickly in the seam. Some of the fluff was not attached at all to the mesh. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but the hole is quite large, and could catch on an edge easily. The sequined cups had some nice padding, and the hook and eye closure was very easy to attach. It would be very easy to slip off, if you wanted to get rough!

The biggest problem I had with this babydoll, is around where the sequins meet the mesh. The seam here has sequins just poking out. They are ready to stab you and leave very nice red marks all over your skin! I am sure there is a way to fix this (if you are handy with a needle), but it's something to really consider if you choose to buy. My skin had a very nice outline of the seam after I removed the babydoll, and it did nothing but hurt when I had it on.
Follow-up commentary
Nothing has changed, I just don't feel the urge to fix the area around the bust. It leaves my skin red and sore. The design idea is nice, and I still like this company. It looks as though they discontinued the product, too.
