This dress will flatter your body shape and make you feel great about your self-image. This dress is very revealing and should not be worn if you are not comfortable with your body type. The back of the dress is open and shows off a lot of skin. Your butt will hardly be covered in this dress so if you plan on wearing high heels, it will only accentuate it. I am a size 6 and I ordered a medium. I am quite thin and this dress was small on me. Don't get me wrong, it definitely fits to size, but if you are not comfortable showing off so much skin, make sure you order it in a size larger than what fits you. If you wear the dress in the day, it may be a little see through but if you wear it at night nobody will be able to tell. The pattern of the dress is solid black with black sequins. The length is 30" from the top to the hem. There is a halter tie around the neck and a tie that goes around the back. The dress is made of polyester. It should be hand washed in warm water with a little detergent. This dress will not need any ironing. Do not put this dress in the dryer. Let it air dry because you do not want to ruin the sequins.
