The Opaque Fashion Tights by Leg Avenue are a very solid pair of tights to have in your collection, especially for everyday wear. They come in a multitude of colors, of which my had me order the black, navy blue and brown pairs. They're not flashy at all, but they do the job. They're well-made, warm and look good on.

Material/Packaging

The tights arrive like most pairs of hosiery, the tights wrapped around a piece of thick cardboard with a thin piece of cardboard wrapped around the hosiery. On the front of the packaging is a picture of a woman wearing the tights with the company's name, Leg Avenue, at the top of the packaging with the product name, Fashion Opaque Tights, at the bottom of the packaging.

On the back of the packaging there is the material breakdown, the tights are made from 80% nylon and 20% Spandex. There are also care instructions, the sizing for the tights and the same information in Spanish as well.

The packaging is normal for hosiery, nothing garish here. The packaging is recyclable, and I wouldn't advise keeping the packaging for storage. It's pretty easy to fold these up in your sock or hosiery drawer, and who really wraps their hosiery back around that cardboard insert?

Fit/Appearance

The tights are one size fits most, which is specified as people weighing between 90-160 pounds. My wife is slightly under that 160 range and these tights fit her pretty well. The waistband has a double layer of material so they are a little tight at the waist when she pulls them up but overall it isn't a big problem for her. She has worn the black pair to work several times already and has had no problems at all. The tights look great on, and we could find no loose strings or stitches on the tights. They are well made, especially at the price point they are at. As I said before, they aren't flashy, but they look good on. There are no patterns to these tights, they are simple, one-tone opaque tights.

My wife also wanted me to mention that they don't tend to sag in the crotch like other pairs of tights she has had have in the past. The tights are snug and warm, but aren't constricting like some pairs she has as well.

There is no lining of the crotch with these tights, nor are the toes reinforced, but with the thickness of the material this isn't a problem for my wife.

Care

There are no written care instructions with these tights, although on the back of the packaging there is an "X" over an iron and another "X" over what I assume is a bleach bottle. We hand wash all of my wife's tights and allow them to air dry which would be my suggestion for caring for this garment. You could also run these through the washing machine, although I would suggest it only be on a cold water and gentle cycle, and try to use a lingerie bag or something of the sort. Do not put these in the dryer, they won't hold up well I would think.

We really like these tights. My wife prefers opaque tights when wearing skirts at her job and these fit the bill perfectly. They might be a little snug, but overall they fit well and are warm, which are the most important things for her. And at this price they are a very good value.
