Glitter accented chemise - chemise discontinued by Coquette - review by Pete's Princess

My Glitter Accented Chemise arrived today. I am glad to report that I am very happy with my purchase. This is a very classy, black-tie, grown-up little number. It has a lot of detailing but remains an understated knock-out. It covers more than some other lingerie, but sometimes it is nice to not show it all until you are ready to show it all. The quality is top rate. The seams are finished well, and there are no loose threads.

Best of all it fits really well. I always have a hard time finding lingerie that properly fits my breasts while not being too loose on the rest of me. If the lingerie fits the rest of me then my breasts are either squished or falling out. I am very glad to report this was not the case with the Glitter Accented Chemise. The cups did fit my breasts snuggly. I run a 34DD or 36D depending on the manufacturer, and I ordered a size XL. The straps are a bit thinner than most bra straps but are adjustable and give a bit of lift when tightened.


As you can see it is a good fit. The only issue is that, because I ordered a larger size, the band under the breasts is a bit loose and causes a bit of bunching. I am trying to figure an easy way to tighten that up, but I am not sure as it lace and there does not appear to be a seam on the side. The rest of the chemise fits well as the fabric is stretchy and clings to your curves. There is no boning to support the midsection. This makes it very comfortable to sleep in after playtime is over. The two rows of diamond crystals on each side give a slimming appearance. Another reviewer mentioned that she had an issue with the crystals not lying flat, but I have not had that issue.


The detailing is wonderful. The top of the chemise is made of black and silver lace. In the center of the cups is a rectangular diamond crystal set on a black bow. In the back there are two eye hooks. To the side of each breast is a black satiny band to add some extra detail.


The middle is a stretchy, black, satiny type material with the two rows of diamond crystals on the sides. The back is plain. The chemise is finished off with a wide row of the black and silver lace that was used on the top. It also includes adjustable garter straps.

I am 5'5" and the bottom of the black section just skimmed the bottom of my cheeks. It did ride up a bit in the back when I sat down without stockings on. For those within the average range, you will be pleased with the lengnth.

Material: 80% nylon, 20% spandex. Hand wash with mild detergent and line dry. The material is thin but not flimsy.

Packaging: Comes in a clear plastic bag on a satin hanger. There is a product tag hanging from the left breast along with a ziplock bag containing the removable garters. The product tag features front and back views of the model wearing the Glitter Accented Chemise.

This is still a great chemise. It is comfortable but classy. I love the rhinestones. All women should sparkle. Stays on while you roll around. I highly recommend this one.
