Spiderweb spaghetti strap bodystocking - crotchless bodystocking by Fantasy Lingerie - review by spookycutie

I was a little bit apprehensive about buying this, because I'd never tried a bodystocking before. I was afraid they'd be either ill-fitting, very itchy/uncomfortable, or both. This certainly proved me wrong, but I still don't love it, sadly...

Packaging: This came in a really cute package, a paperboard box with the bodystocking wrapped in a plastic bag and with paperboard in the tights to help them keep their shape. Here are some pictures:





Appearance: This does not look ANYTHING like a spiderweb to me. The stock photos fail to show the perfectly symmetrical horizontal stripes this piece has all over, which not only make it look cheesy, but unflattering as well. If you're buying this for a fun bedroom piece, this might not be a big disappointment, but to me it was a real joykiller. I bought this wanting spiderweb tights that you could tell were spider webs from a distance, and what I ended up with was, well...something else.

Size/Fit: Like I said before, I was expecting this to not fit that well. I was actually blown away by how comfortable this piece is! It might be because I ordered this in a QUEEN SIZE (I wear a small/medium in most things, but my thighs are MASSIVE and tend to rip tights or make things sheer that are supposed to be opaque...yuck!) but this isn't too tight ANYWHERE, and the material is super soft! Most stockings tend to be itchy/scratchy/just uncomfortable, but this was perfect. If I liked the look of it, I could wear it all day! The straps didn't dig in, even on a girl like me (about 5'7" with a LONNNNG torso.) Yay!

Quality: The quality of this seems to be pretty good, too. It's too bad, really---if it looked the way it was pictured, this would have been PERFECTION! I didn't feel like I was going to rip the material, or put any runs in it as I was putting it on or taking it off, not all that gently might I add. It's always great to not have to be ridiculously careful with your pretty lingerie!

One more for good measure...see those awful perfectly spaced lines?!?

I have no idea where this is, and I have no desire to look for it. My dogs could have taken it under the bed and ripped it up for all I care, honestly. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect spiderweb stockings!
