Satin lycra gloves - glove discontinued by Coquette - review by VanillaFreeSex

First off I want to mention that a few of the contributor uploaded pics on the product page are of different gloves. There a few pics there that are of wet look type gloves. These gloves are not those. They are the basic standard satiny above the elbow dressy gloves.

I got these gloves in black, now they are only available in red or silver. The black ones contrast very well with rhinestone costume jewelry. Add these to any black dress ensemble and get an instant Diva look. They just make me want to get on stage and lipsinc!

They fit well and are comfortable. They are one size fits "most", and unfortunately don't come in other sizes. The fingertips felt a little awkward to me, but perhaps that's just because it's been so long since I wore gloves. I suggest handwashing in cold water to prolong the life of these affordable basic gloves. They are Lycra so they resist pilling, but could snag. Though mine have not. Lycra is a synthetic stretchy material and resists perspiration. Surpisingly they did not make my hands overly hot. I am not aware of any allergy or sensitivity concerns with Lycra.

They are listed as being Lycra, but the tag says spandex and nylon. Made in China, and are from the Coquette line. I do like Coquettes line of lingerie. I would describe them as "satin". They are smooth and slicky without the wet look and fit more comfortably than I imagine wet look gloves would. In comparison to wet look gloves, which would be more for a fetish/Dominatrix look, these are dressy. They do remind me of gloves I used to wear on stage. If you are a performer, Diva, or dancer, I think it would be great to get a pair of these in each color.
