Sheer indulgence kimono and boyshort - peignoir discontinued by DreamGirl - review by indiechick

WOW. I often find that if one piece in a lingerie set fits that the other is going to be way off the mark. That is not the case with the set. If you follow the sizing that Eden provides from DreamGirl you should have no problem getting a nearly flawless fit. I was smack dab in the middle of the medium range and worried that the product was going to either be far too small or too big, instead it was a perfect fit but thanks to elastic, stretch lace and a tie it also could have easily worked for anyone in the size range.

This set consists of a black sheer and lace "kimono" or wrap top and a lace "boy short" though I think it is more of a tenga as I think of boy shorts as having more coverage of my booty where as this one has a larger waist band with less coverage of the backside.

Kimono:
I always worry about losing the tie or belt that goes with products like this kimono, but DreamGirl thought of people like me and solved this problem by attaching the belt to the top so you'll never lose it. The sleeves of the top have a gathered detail that ends in a bow in black ribbon on each side. The fabric (Polyester sheer and lace) is very pleasant against the skin. It is not itchy to wear, even for long periods of time. (I wore it around the house for 2 hours before writing this review).
Fit: I have an average length torso and the top hits me at my hip bone. The sleeves are about three/quarter length on me and I have crazy long arms in proportion to the rest of my body. I was scared that the sleeves would look odd on me, but I felt very pretty in this top. When wrapping the top around and tying it, the two sides overlapped about 2 inches in the front and I was able to make a pretty bow out of the tie. It truly is wonderful sizing.






Panty:
As I said before I don't know if I would actually consider it a boy short, but whatever you want to call it I like it. It does ride up the crack a little, but really what are you expecting out of such little fabric? My favorite part about the panty and where it wins massive points is that there is a cotton liner in the crotch of the panty which you rarely see in lingerie, but is so nice to have.

Fit: Wonderful, the lace is a stretch lace (which I love) and should easily fit you no matter what size you are within your range.

While I never wear the underwear that came with it, as I own pieces I find far more comfortable this robe has become a love of mine. It gets put on to brush my teeth in the morning is a nice little cover up before bed when you don't actually want to wear anything, but prancing around nude isn't an option either. For a Skype chat to a very special man this robe has seen many appearances because it keeps me covered, but still sexy.

I have had to wash it as I did spill coffee on it.
1) Start with a a clean sink
2) Fill sink with warm water and about a teaspoon of washing detergent
3) Gently rub fabric together in soapy water with hands.
4) Drain soapy water
5) Rinse garment in cold water
6) Hang to dry.

If it wasn't a piece I loved so much I would have waited til I had more lingerie to wash as 2 tablespoons of detergent in a wash tub with many items is traditionally easier. Same general steps though
