Apprentice side-zip corset - corset discontinued by Escante - review by HunterGuy

My husband bought this for me, and when I opened it I wondered, "What were you thinking?" I wasn't sure if I'd ever wear it outside of the house. My next thought was "This is a piece of fantasy lingerie". Perhaps I am not as modest as I thought I was. Well, I can tell you that this piece has seen a lot of wear, which is why I was inspired to write about it.

I see that the item has been discontinued, and to that, I am disappointed, but there are similar corsets available, so let me explain why I love it.

First, I thought at my age, why would I want to display a lot of cleavage? Some is good, but my impression of a corset was that they’re designed to suck in the midsection and bring it all together, artificially enhancing the look of your cleavage. I am happy to say that I was wrong. This corset fit me like a glove. I am not firm in the midsection but not large either. At 5foot 4inches, I have an ample bust (36C or D depending on the bra), hence the concern over cleavage. The tapered appearance of the Corset is really a result of the criss-cross drawstring back. You can shape it whatever way you want. The great part about this item is that it has a strong side zipper closure. So once you have it adjusted just zip your way out of it and you will be ready to go in seconds the next time you want the alluring look that it produces.

Basically, my body looked almost identical to the model once I had it laced up. The cleavage produced is very classy, and it holds the girls firmly in their place. I have worn it alone, under sweaters, under button down shirts, and with nothing more than a thong (for hubby of course).

Not a fan of pin striping? Well neither was I, but paired with a pair of dress slacks or classy jeans and your the hot ticket for the night. I love the way I look and feel in this garment. My only complaint is that it is no longer available at EF.

I must say I am hooked on corsets. The drawstring back helps to snug up the contours of your torso in an elegant manner, regardless if warn alone or under a favorite blouse or sweater.

As much as I love the way I look in it, I love the way it makes me feel as well, adds a little something to the way I move. And those double takes I get from guys is icing on the cake.

Looking forward to finding more of these that fits as good as this one does.
