I'm the kind of girl that's lucky if I can get a single wear out of a pair of stockings before I have to toss them. I tend to ruin them putting them on, taking them out of the package, taking them off, storing them and just looking at them. These stockings, however, seem to have no Kryptonite. Thank goodness.

These stockings come in the basic cardboard and plastic packaging from Leg Avenue. The stockings are encased in a plastic envelope and sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard with an image of the model wearing the stockings. I tend to hang onto the cardboard piece, since I like to store my stockings sandwiched between the cardboard (my cats are less likely to find and destroy them this way) in a drawer.

These are in fact lace topped, but the lace does not have a lot of the anti-slip gel on them, nor is there a great amount of elastic. If you're the right size (but don't ask me what it is, I'm not it), you might find these stockings stay up easily with no problems. If you aren't, you'll definitely feel more comfortable (and sexy!) wearing a garter belt in tandem.

I ordered the nude colored stockings and they look great on my legs. I have pretty fair skin, so occasionally I wind up with a pair of stockings that make my legs look like Snooki's, but these do not cause that. In fact, my boyfriend usually notices when I'm wearing stockings, and said he couldn't tell at first when he saw my legs. I attribute this to the fact that I usually wear shinier stockings than these, so instead of seeing the tell-tale stocking sheen, the muted hue of these threw him off.

I have only laundered my pair once, and they held up quite well in a lingerie bag. I let them air dry. Laundering them will cause them to stretch out more quickly, so be careful.

All in all, these are a comfortable, durable pair of thigh highs.
