Red cowl neck mini dress - mini dress discontinued by Forplay Lingerie - review by hut22dunn2

If you're searching for a modest yet very sexy and unique dress, this is it! From the cowl neck to the gold chains in back you just cannot go wrong with this dress.

I pulled this gorgeous dress out of the box it was shipped in and was amazed. The dress was carefully placed in a plastic covering that read it was made by Forplay. You could easily slip a hanger through to keep this dress covered in your closet. The tag is attached to the side of the dress and, also, read that it was made by Forplay and states the color (red) and size (M).


When I was thinking of ordering this I wasn't sure what size to choose. This piece is available in extra small, small, medium, large and extra large. I didn't want the cowl neck to be too low and I didn't want the chains in back to be too loose. After seeing some other reviews I decided to buy the medium size dress. The dress is made out of polyester/ spandex and measures around 37 inches long so I knew I would have a little extra stretch room.



I carefully pulled this dress over my head and pulled the fabric down to fit my body. It was a little tight getting over my head but it wasn't too small in size for me. The cold chains rested against my bare back. I looked in the mirror and noticed my little tummy first. Of course, this isn't the dresses fault. I adjusted the dress to bunch up with the fabric and it seemed to be effective in covering up how noticeable my tummy was. I was very impressed with this dress and it looked much better than I was expecting it to. I loved the feel of the fabric on my skin. It was very silky smooth. The cowl neck was modest but still gave a touch of sexiness to the dress.

This was the dress after putting in on. The first photo was of how I adjusted the fabric to my style of liking. It seems to conceal the tummy flaws pretty well.



This photo shows how long it can be pulled down comfortably. So, as you can see, it is pretty adjustable in length and generous for many people's preferences.





The chains on this dress is what really pulled me into buying this. The construction of the chains alone is perfect. I included a photo to show a close up of the chains. Where the chains connect in the front of the dress is beautiful. I really liked that the chains had such a unique construction. It's not just one link of chains but two that connect from the front going to the back. You can see this in the first photo.

I wouldn't recommend putting this dress in the washer or drier machine. I have spot cleaned this with warm water and soap. I would say hand washing is the best idea for caring for this dress. It would be a shame to ruin the beautiful chains on the back of this dress so caution should be advised when washing this.

This is such a gorgeous dress and overall, pretty flattering to my body shape. With careful cleaning and maintenance, it will stay in great shape.
