Are you looking for a good quality corset, that is true to it's sizing, and excellent quality? Are you looking for something that is feminine, sexy, and has a slimming effect? Well, the Elegant Interlude Corset by Dreamgirl is that and more! This piece comes with a matching g-string, and is perfect in the bedroom, or to be worn out on the town. Pair this with your favorite pair of jeans, and go bar or club hopping with friends. This corset will be sure to turn heads.

Want to wear this to work? It can be arranged, just layer it with a black camisole underneath, black dress pants, and toss a black cardigan on top. The color is gorgeous, and this piece can be worn so many ways. This would make an excellent Valentine's Day gift, or even a bridal gift.



Material / Texture / Design / Shape / Size



There are three tags on the inside of the lingerie: the Dreamgirl label (black and pink), small size label (white), and the fabric breakdown label (white), that says the shell is made up of 95% polyester, and 5% spandex. The trim is made up of 93% polyester, and 7% spandex. When it comes to durability and strength of this product, it is true to that. The inside of this item is nicely lined, and is soft against the skin.



Starting from the top of the corset, the top is in a heart shape that hugs your breasts perfectly. It is lined with a black lace like ribbon, that borders along the top edge, and roughly 1/2-3/4" thick. The lace ribbon has a bit of a ruffle effect, with black fringe finish. The corset is a gorgeous purple-pink color, that is satiny and smooth to the touch, with plastic boning running verticle throughout. When it comes to boning, and no I don't mean something naughty, there is a total of 9. Where there is boning, it is the same gorgeous satiny fabric that is on top. The top of the corset in the front, is raised and rounded to help cover your breasts.



With this corset you have the option of wearing it with straps, or without. It all depends on the amount of support that is required in the bust region. I personally prefer to wear this with straps, as they're located in the perfect spot.





In the middle of the corset it features a gorgeous black lace mid section, that looks a bit like a belt. It brings your eyes to the smallest part of the body, and makes your waist look super small. In the middle of the lace section, there is a built in black satin bow. It's treated like a belt, as you can clip it closed, and open it for an easier way of putting the corset on. Measuring from the top of the corset at the bust down to the top of the lace portion, it's 5.5". The actual lace waist measures 6.5" in length, with the satin bow directly in the middle. The satin belt portion is 1" thick, and the actual bow measures 3.5" in width and 6.5" in length. The ribbon belt is only in the front of the corset, connecting at the seams on the sides.

The front of the corset contains the hook and eye closure, which has a total of 14 all the way down. There is no room for making adjustments for the hook and eye closure, nor is there any black fabric underneath to cover up your skin when it's tightly pulled. With that said, depending on where you're wearing this, you may want a black camisole or tank top underneath.

The bottom of the corset contains the optional garter straps, that can easily be removed. They're fully adjustable, and contain four of them: two in the front and two in the back.





The back of the corset if all black in color, and is somewhat shear in nature. Directly down the center of the back contains the lace-up backing, which contains a nice satin-like black ribbon that laces it up. On each side the black fabric measures 6.5" wide, and that's including the plastic boning sewn in. You're able to tie the back and tighten it to however you like, showing as much skin as desired. The ribbon measures 1/4" in width.

Now for the g-string thong...

The top of the triangle fabric crotch area measures 4.5" in width, and contains a black elastic that is sewn all around bordering it. The same elastic is what's used as the g-string portion, and that measures 15" wide, which is 30" around. The thickness of the elastic is 1/4", and can be stretched up to about 40" around the hip/waist. Measuring from the top of the g-string down to where the lining in the crotch, it's 6" long.



The thong portion at the back at the top measures just a little over 3" wide, and measures 1.5" at the thinnest part of the thong. The panties are the same gorgeous purple-pink color satin-like fabric as the corset, and have a bit of a ruffle effect to the way it's sewn.



My Experience

I'm so in love with the color of this corset, it's perfect for Valentine's Day, or date night. The design of it, makes it wearable outside the bedroom. I like to pair this with a pair of jeans, and I'm ready for a night on the town. I also love how you have the option of wearing the straps, and with this corset the straps are actually in the proper location. With this corset there's no itchy underarms, because of poorly placed straps, they're in the perfect spot.









After sitting for a number of hours in this corset, it did stretch a little bit, but it still held it's shape. With Dreamgirls lingerie normally fitting small, this wasn't one of them. This corset is true to the sizing, as I normally wear a size 14/XL, and the XL fit me perfectly. This corset is perfect for all occasions.

Care and Maintenance

With the nature of this corset you would want to hand wash it in cool water. You would want to use a mild soap, I personally like the brand Zero. Do not put this in the washing machine or dryer, as it will get damaged. You will want to hang the corset to dry, so it doesn't lose it's shape.

Packaging

Everything came wrapped in pink tissue paper. The corset had the original cardboard Dreamgirl product tag attached to the lingerie. The product tag had photos of a model wearing the lingerie, only the front view. On the back of the label it had the style, color, and sizing information, as well as the Dreamgirl website: "www.Dreamgirldirect.com".

I LOVE the color of this corset, and so does my fiance. I wore this to work with a cardigan, and I got quite a few compliments on it. A few of the girls asked where I got it, so I'm sure Eden Fantasys picked up a few new customers!
