Sequin corset set - corset discontinued by Escante - review by sweetiejo

When you first receive the Sequin Corset set it comes on a plain black hanged with a plastic bag over the top. The bag is clear with the product code on a sticker on the front. The set includes a black thong with sequins, and the actual corset that also has sequins. Both the thong and the corset are made from 90% nylon and 10% elastane. This means both should be washed by hand only and hung dry, although you can use a light cycle on the washing machine.

The corset is a soft smooth almost silk like fabric, with sequins trimming the base. Underneath the breast of the corset there is a small mesh like patch, with lacing. The boning is made from a plastic, while the underwire is metal. The corset has a unique angled up cut, this helps to flatter the hips and stomach. The back is a typical hook and eye clip back that is difficult to do by oneself. The corset is great for complimenting one’s features. The cups are lightly padded and have great support for larger sized breast, but can seem big and almost baggy on smaller breasts. Underneath there is a line that's been sewn in, running from the front to the back of the corset, it serves no real purpose except for decoration. The sequins around the base can become itchy when wearing it, so prolonged wear can become irritating.

The thong is comprised of different strings, two on the left, two on the right, and the main string for the back portion. The tag is at the back of the thong and is quite large. I actually cut mine off because it became irritating for wear. The two straps on each side fit snugly around the hips, but not to the point of becoming uncomfortable. The thong has a low cut running along the hips. The front of the thong is the typical triangle style; this is where the sequins are sewn in. This can become itchy against the skin especially the longer it is worn, so this piece wouldn’t be recommended for long periods of wear.

Overall this was a great piece in my opinion. I loved the coloring, and found it fit true to the sizing chart. It hugs my curves nicely without being too tight that it is uncomfortable. The plastic boning does bend easily, but doesn't become permanently disfigured. I loved this piece. I found it to be extremely comfortable, once you get past the itchy edges. The breast area was large against my frame and puffed out a small amount, but nothing that was too noticeable. I like to wear this one over a plain black t-shirt to make it more socially appropriate, but I wear it for both bedroom and everyday sexiness.

Once you get past the scratchy feeling on this set it works great. I've learned if you put on a bit of talc lotion, or plain talc will help to prevent from scratching. I have started to put my corset and thong in the washing machine, and it stands against it very well. I've worn t a multitude of times in the bedroom and in public. I have yet to loose any sequins from either piece. I love to wear this with a pair of tight jeans when I want to show a bit more skin.
