Excellent Cincher for the Price!

I have gotten so many complements on this corset! It looks fabulous on and is easy to wear and very comfortable. Simply pair with a little black dress or a skirt and blouse for a wonderful burlesque look. The relatively flexible boning make this a corset for occasional costume wear rather than a 24/7 garment, but I feel that it is excellent value for what it is! Definitely a worthwhile purchase if you enjoy the look and feel of structured garments like this.

Okay, let's get one thing straight right off the bat... this is a COSTUME piece, not suitable nor intended for waist training. If you're looking for a true waist training corset, this is not a good choice. However, if you simply want a wonderful, sexy, underbust corset/cincher to complete your look, thisis a great buy! I honestly think you'd have trouble finding a better piece at this price point.

I have been very pleased with this corset. It looks fantastic on and is very comfortable. Despite not being a "serious" corset, it can actually be cinched down a fair bit (or maybe I'm just really squishy). It seems reasonably well-made and durable. And, again, for the price I paid, I have been impressed with the overall quality.

I was pleased to see that the front closure on this cincher was an actual busk (as opposed to small, individual hook & eye closures). A pretty black satin ribbon is laced through the back. It looks lovely when tied and actually seems fairly strong.

I'm not sure if the boning is metal or plastic, but either way, it's fairly flexible. This is the main reason why I say this should not be considered a waist training corset. The boning is way too flimsy for that. However, what boning is there provides a nice bit of support and does a decent job of pulling the tummy in and accentuating the waist.

I really do feel that this is a great quality and affordably priced, attractive costume corset. I've definitely gotten my money's worth and would recommend it to anyone else who wants a fun cincher for occasional wear. If this corset ever wears out on me, I'll definitely be buying another. Although it's showing no signs of needing to be replaced any time soon!
Experience
When I received this corset, it was laced to be tied in the middle (rather than having the bow at the top or bottom hem). This is actually the ideal point to tightent and tie your corset for even tension. Simply pull the two loops of ribbon (sometimes called "bunny ears") and tie them in a bow. I usually have a friend help me tighten and tie the laces, but it is possible to don and doff this garment solo and is probably safer if you are able to do so.
