Bra and g-string set - bra and panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by Kissy

Packaging:
The Bra and g-string set by Coquette came in a sealed plastic bag on a padded hanger. The items were presented very nicely, and looked very professional. There was a tag attached to the bra that had a model posing in the items, front and back photos as well as information about the product.

I love the hanger, it is super high quality and I will use it in my closet, since I won't be storing the bra and panty on it... they will be in my drawer. It seems a little unnecessary to hang them. The plastic bag got thrown away, I don't see any use for it.

Since the items are so small, they fit well in my undergarment drawers, taking up very little space.

Care/ Maintenance:
The care instructions for these items can be found on the inside of the bra only. The tags states to hand wash only and hang to dry. There are not care instructions on the g-string, but since they are the same material, I am assuming the same care.

I hand washed these items and they are still in like-new states. I think that they could handle the washer on a delicate or handwash cycle, but not the dryer.

To maintain the shape, I would always recommend folding nicely and hanging or laying flat to dry.

Size:
It is currently available in the sizes: M, L, XL, and 1x/2x
I am not sure why there is no Small size available. This seemed a bit weird to me. I ordered the size Medium, but debated on getting the large. My sizes are typically Small-Medium. I have a 34D bust. Coquette's sizing for a Medium is a 36-38B. I didn't want to order too big and have the band not fit, so I ordered a Medium based on the band.

As expected the band fits well, but I am overflowing in this bra. I am probably better off in the large, if the band can be adjusted to a 34-36. I don't plan on using this bra outside of the bedroom, so the overflow boobage is really not an issue... of course my husband doesn't mind it. But if I were to use it outside the bedroom, it would be awkward in regular clothing.

As for the panties, they measure about 30" with a little stretch. They are pretty tight on me, but not uncomfortable. I would say they are more of a size small than a medium.




Design:
This item comes in the colors: nude/black
The look is so feminine and gorgeous. I love the lace top overlay over the nude solid. The bra is a lot more nude/black than the model pictures (and even my pictures) that look more grayish.

The lace design is a flowery pattern and is delicate and light. On the cup portion the nude is only on the lower half, and the top half is just the lace. This is a beautiful touch. The bottom of the bra has mini lace loops – very detailed. The back hook clasps have 3 adjustable widths. Total there is 6 eyelets. The front of the bra also has hook clasps and eyelets. The front there are just 4 hook clasps and it is not adjustable. This is nice for if you want to put the bra on by the front or the back. The straps are adjustable, but not removable. There is stiff underwire in the bra which gives it nice support. There is absolutely no padding in this bra, just the simple fabric layer.

The G-string band is satin and very comfortable. It does not pinch and it has a decent amount of stretch. The front triangle portion has the nude background with the lace overlay to match the bra. There is no protective fabric in the thong. There is a tiny tag in the front that says "M" for the size.



Material/Texture:
Material: Lace / Lycra
Lycra is a synthetic fiber known for its exceptional elasticity (stretchability). Lycra is very strong and durable material, able to be stretched repetitively and still recover original length. It is resistant to body oils, perspiration, lotions, and detergents with no static or pilling problems. Lycra can not stand high temperatures so never soak, boil or bleach this material. Wash in tepid water and allow drying in an airy place.

The materials feel nice on my skin. I could see how the lace might be itchy to some though. It might be itchy to me if I wore it for an extended period of time. The materials feel strong, sturdy and long lasting, as long as I follow the care instructions carefully.

Personal Experience :
I really do like this set. I love how feminine it is. I love the front and the back clasps. My husband loves it too. I think it is one of my favorite lingerie bra/g-string matching sets right now. It isn't too flashy or wow-factor, but it is romantic and perfect for Valentines or any regular day.
