Plum gartered chemise - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Vivek Patel

I received the Plum Gartered Chemise that's by Dreamgirl, which was intended for my wife. The color plum is truly gorgeous, and by far the nicest color that they offer. The only thing is that the chemise didn't fit her properly.

She originally purchased the same garment in 1X/2X, in the pink shade, but found that the bust region didn't fit her. It ended up being too big in the cups, whereas the rest of the chemise fit perfectly. So for the plum, we decided to go with the large. The bra portion fit her very oddly, and didn't offer any lift at all. The cups were weirdly shaped, as with shipping they ended up creasing. For the large, the bust fit better than the bigger size. However, the body of the chemise was skin tight. She normally wears a size 14, an XL or large size of clothing with no problem.

Unless you're a woman with HUGE breasts, you would want to stay clear of this piece of lingerie. With that said, it has two built in straps to help add support in the bust area. No matter how much adjusting, it didn't do much for her. The chemise is plum, which is a nice deep purple color. The fabric is satin and spandex mix, but looks and feels like a nice satin piece of lingerie. It's super smooth to the touch, and perfect for a romantic evening... if you have the right body for it.

The chemise has black bra straps with little black bows on both sides, as well as black built-in garter straps. The straps are not removable. You either live with them or cut them off. The straps are fully adjustable in nature, and also come included with a pair of thigh-high tights.

This set comes in the colors: plum, fuchsia, black and red. They are also available in plus sizes!

The back of the chemise has a hook and eye closure, and the back is more of a mesh-like fabric. There is a cute little look of a window where you can peak and see some skin, which is right below the bra closure.

The bottom of the chemise has a pretty ruffle that runs all the way around and is quite feminine.

The color of this chemise is to die for, and I wish that it fit my wife better than it did. She's still losing weight, so it will hopefully fit better in a few months... that's if she doesn't lose too much of her breasts!

Overall, this is an excellent quality product for the price, and I love that it's offered in so many sizes and colors.
