Look no further, the Corset With Ruffled Lace Hem from Coquette, does that! Pair this little number with a pair of jeans, dress pants, a skirt, or a sexy pair of panties, and you're all set. This corset is for all occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Valentine's Day, special date night, or for any regular night. Wear this with dress pants, and wear a cardigan over top, and you have a sexy business casual outfit... you'll be the sexiest woman in the office!



Material / Texture / Design / Shape / Size



There are three tags on the inside of the lingerie: the Coquette label, small size label, and the fabric label, that says it's made of 82% nylon, and 18% spandex. When it comes to durability and strength of this product, it is true to that. The inside of this item is nicely lined, and is soft against the skin.





Starting from the top of the corset, the top is in a heart shape that hugs your breasts perfectly. It is lined with a black satin like ribbon, that borders along the top edge, and is 1/4" thick. The corset is black in color, with plastic boning running verticle throughout. When it comes to boning, and no I don't mean something naughty, there is a total of 10. Where there is boning, there is purple fabric with black flower lace lined on top. The top of the corset in the front, is raised and rounded to help cover your breasts. There is also a satin ribbon loop on both sides, in the armpit region, that way you would be able to hang this item up.



In the middle of the corset, there is an elastic belt that is sewn on the inside, to help create a wonderful hourglass shape. The actual elastic measures 1" in height, and runs all the way around the inside of the corset. Measuring from the middle of the bust, to the top of the elastic measures 7" down, and the total length of corset in the front is 16" in length(XL - includes ruffle trim). The bottom has a beautiful layered ruffle trim, the top being black flower lace, and the bottom being a pretty purple mesh. The black trim measures about 1.5" thick, and the purple measures about 2" thick.





Where the inside elastic is located, there are belt loops on the outside, one on both sides. The belt loops are there to hold the pretty satin like purple ribbon belt. The belt measures 1.5" in height, and is a rich purple hue. The belt moves around quite a bit once tied, but really adds beauty to this corset.



The corset can be worn with straps, or without. If you're someone with bigger breasts and require extra support, then wear it with straps. Wearing the straps takes some getting used to, as they hit right where your armpit is. The straps are fully adjustable, as well as the garter straps that come included. Both the bra straps and garter straps came in their own little plastic zipped bag, that was clipped to the lingerie.



The back of the corset is like any other bra type closure, the hook and eye. There are a total of 17 hook and eye closures all the way down, and two rows of adjustments to select from. There's a black fabric panel under the hooks, to prevent any skin from showing.

Care and Maintenance

With the nature of this corset you would want to hand wash it in cool water. You would want to use a mild soap, I personally like the brand Zero. Do not put this in the washing machine or dryer, as it will get damaged. You will want to hang the corset to dry, so it doesn't lose it's shape.

Packaging

Everything came wrapped in pink tissue paper. Reading one of the other product reviews for this product, theirs came in a clear plastic bag. I'm not sure if mine was a returned item, but everything is all there, and in new condition. The corset had the original cardboard Coquette product tag pinned to the lingerie. The product tag had photos of a model wearing the lingerie, both front and back view. On the label it had the washing instructions stating to hand wash the item. The washing instructions are little pictures, one is a washing machine with an "X" through it. Great presentation when it comes to the packaging.







I'm in love with my new corset, and it's another excellent quality product from Coquette. I wear a size 14 or an XL, and the XL fits me perfectly. With the spandex mixed into the fabric, it's stretchy and has some give. With the two rows of eye-hook closures at the back, it adds a little extra space for comfort and size adjustments. With me being borderline plus size, this corset sucks and holds everything in. It actually makes me look a size smaller then I am!

I'm 100% happy with this product, and can't wait to model it for my fiance. I would actually wear this with a pair of jeans and go to a bar or club. It shows just enough cleavage, but not too much to be cheap.

I'm still in love with this corset, and have actually worn it out. I like to pair it with jeans, and heels, and go for a night on the town. The quality is superb, as I was able to sit for hours at a bar, and the corset didn't lose it's shape. It still was sucking and holding everything in place, even after hours of sitting. Excellent product, and worth every penny.
