Black wet look skirt - skirt discontinued by Coquette - review by Internet Brat

I want it all; every piece of wet look clothing EVER made by Coquette that is. This is one of the more basic pieces in their collection, but it is very cute, comfortable, and would look great worn either with a wet look top or even something little more casual. I wore this out to a fetish night with the matching wet look thigh high stockings and a plain black tank top and it looked great.

As with most Coquette orders, it arrived on a tiny clear, plastic hanger with little more than a cardboard tag depicting a pretty girl modeling. As with all wet look items, I suggest keeping the little hanger since this particular fabric tends to wrinkle easily, so it's best to store it hanging up. The skirt itself is just a basic miniskirt that was sewn very neatly together. It has an elasticized waist and flares out slightly at the bottom. It's comfortable to wear as the inside is the softer, uncoated side of the wet look fabric and stayed put for the most part during my night out; it didn't ride up barely at all, but I think it has the potential too depending what you're wearing underneath and how tight it is on you.

My measurements:
6'0" tall. 170lbs. 32" waist. 42" hips.

The skirt:
Size LARGE. 9" long. This fabric has about an inch or two of comfortable stretch to it.

This size fit my body size PERFECTLY except it is very short. Like, too shameful to wear in public short. I had to pull it down so low on my hips just to get it to barely cover my butt cheeks. If you are short and petite this may not be that big of an issue, but it's still something to consider before purchasing.

This garment is made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex therefore is to be hand washed and hung up to dry. Wet look will lose it's shine after some time so try to only wash this when it's necessary in order to prolong it's lifespan.

I don't wear this little skirt very often, as it's not my favorite, but I still like it a lot. I am considering buying the red one as well.
