Raspberry Fields chemise - chemise discontinued by Coquette - review by TheNaughtyKitchenWitch

First off, I want to say how jealous I am of the woman in the picture; the item totally didn't fit me anywhere as well as it did her, (as is usually the case).

I am reviewing the size 1x-2x Raspberry Fields chemise which is adorable and comfortable. However, it has zero bust support and as someone who is a large DD, bust support is VERY important. I feel incredibly sexy in this, I just wish there would have been some bust support because it hurts my neck. The cups are large and cover me, but the ties hurt my neck so badly because my breasts are so heavy. I love the flowers and the pink part is extremely stretchy and soft, but the lace is a tad bit on the scratchy side. It's made using Lace/Lycra/Microfiber. It fits my hips perfectly and falls to just above my knees.

The garters are not detachable and sadly, that is a huge turn off for me, I love being able to detach them because I don't wear stockings and I'm short(5 foot 4). I am considering cutting off the garters because the ribbon threaded through them is extremely annoying and tends to get snagged.

I highly suggest hand washing this garment and hang drying which is what the tag says.


The bottom line is it's comfortable and sexy. I suggest if you are a larger bust size, to maybe wear a bra under it to be comfortable. I wish it had more support, but it's still sexy! If the straps were high quality, I would be in love with this item, but sadly, it will probably stay in the back of my closet.

I own an assortment of Coquette items and this is the first one I've been disappointed with. I think if they redesigned the straps, then it would be a huge hit!

Honestly, I still don't like it, being big busted, the neck strap was very uncomfortable. I gave it to a friend.
