Lace bra and panty set - sexy lingerie by Coquette - review by Midway through

This can be worn underneath clothing. The bow on the panties is pinned on and can be taken off so that the panties can be worn without the bow underneath regular clothes. I found the bra to be supportive for long-term wear of the day, but the panties not so much.

This set is see-through. You can see the nipples fairly easily through the top (though not completely) and the panties are even more see-through due to the difference in patterns on the lace.

Sizing
I want to start out by pointing out that I got the large size of this set. The sizing chart for Coquette says that it should fit the following:

Dress size: 14-12
Cup size: C
Bust: 38-40"
Waist: 30-32"
Hips: 40-42"

I am a 44" bust, 39" waist, and 47" hips. So I'm actually bigger than all the measurements, and it fits perfect. The panties are extremely stretchy and fit just fine. They do not cause a "muffin top," as I like to call it, where my fat hangs over the fabric, and they fit quite well and are flattering. As for the bra—my boobs are actually almost too large for it. I would not suggest anyone larger than a 36DD wear this. I tend to wear that size (strange, I know, because my actual measurement is 39" around, but for some reason I fit those bras fine) and don't have any fat roll hanging out of the bra at all. The only part of the bra that I sort of overflow on is the upper part, and it's actually not that bad, as long as I don't do a lot of leaning over.

Material
This set is made of lace. What is confusing to me is that the bra seems to be a softer lace than the panties. The patterns on the lace don't match either. This is hardly noticeable. I would like to point out that after a while, the panties did bother me and got itchy because the lace on them felt a bit scratchy and rougher than the bra. The bra is a soft lace that can be worn all day without being scratchy to me. The straps are similar to any normal bra strap but are on the slimmer side. I don't find this uncomfortable, but some might. They are fully adjustable, as any normal bra would be.

Design
I feel that the bra design is fantastic. The lace is soft enough to make this workable outside the bedroom as well as in. Both the bra and panties have a really cute floral pattern to the lace, even though they don't actually have the same floral pattern. The panties, on the other hand, seem to be more of a bedroom-only deal. Wear them to look cute, then get ravaged and have them taken off. I wish the design for them had been softer so that they were comfortable to wear outside the bedroom as well. I count that as a design flaw, because I like to wear my lingerie out...not just for sex. I want to be able to sleep in it. The bra can be slept in pretty comfortably, although it's never recommended to sleep in a bra. I tend to sleep in bras regardless and found this one comfy enough for this. The panties couldn't be on for more than a few hours.

Another flaw of the panties is that there is no cotton liner at the crotch area. I find these to be nice because certain fabrics can be more likely to cause a strange odor when sweating, at least for me. I tend to sweat a lot anyway, so I prefer a cotton crotch patch because it's a nice, breathable part. These panties get plenty of air because they feel more like mesh than lace. However, I still count that as another design flaw. They could have been better.

Wear
I find that the bra doesn't show any unusual lines under shirts and is comfortable enough to wear all day. The panties show lines on some of my tighter-fitting pants and shorts, but would not show through on my jeans. I would not wear these all day because the lace was scratchy and started to itch after a few hours. The bow, as I mentioned before, is removable so that it would not be visible. It is basically safety pinned on. The straps are thin and could be uncomfortable to those that are top heavy, though I find at 36DD that they don't bother me. I tend to wear all my bras with thinner straps though, and it never bothers me.
