Leopard babydoll and panty - babydoll and panties set by Coquette - review by Breas

The Holiday Leopard Babydoll and Panty by Coquette is available in one-size-fits-most and one-size-XL. I had purchased the OS/XL. The outfit arrived on a plastic hanger and was surrounded by plastic. The clear plastic surrounding to the outfit did not have any text or images on it other than a small barcode sticker.

There was a cardboard tag attached to the outfit when it had arrived. The tag had a few images of a model wearing the outfit and stated the company name, product name, size, colour, and website. The outfit could be stored on the included hanger when it is not in use or it could be put in a drawer. I prefer to keep outfits like this in a drawer and I use the hanger for other clothes that I have.



The outfit is 50% cotton and 50% polyester, exclusive of trim. The material to both babydoll and panty is stretchy. The top of the babydoll and the panty is trimmed with elastic band for even more stretch. The red lace to both pieces in the set is sheer while the leopard print material is not. The leopard print material does not become sheer the more it is stretched.

The cups to the babydoll are not padded and do not have underwire in them. While the material is opaque, you may want to wear pasties or a similar item if you’re concerned about nipple outline since the material is quite thin. The shoulder straps are thin (just under 3/8 of an inch) elastic band. The shoulder straps are not adjustable in length but they are stretchy. When the straps are not stretched they are 5 ½ inches in length. When the straps were stretched as much as I could, they measured approximately 12 inches in length.

There is a red bow made of ribbon at the very top centre of the babydoll. The bow is approximately 2 ¼ inches long and 2 inches wide. There is a red gem in the shape of a heart at the very centre of the bow. This gem is approximately 5/8 of an inch in both width and height. The heart gem could easily be removed with a pair of scissors if you didn’t like it because it is only sewn on with a single stitch. That being said, you may want to add a few extra stitches if you don’t want it to eventually fall off. The bow could also be removed carefully with a seam ripper if you wanted it removed permanently.



The panty has the same ribbon bow and heart gem at the top, centre front of it. Again, you should add a few stitches to the heart gem if you don’t want it falling off since it is only attached with a single thread. There is no lining in the panty but the material is cotton. The back of the panty is similar to bikini style underwear as it covers some of the bum. The difference between the two is that this panty leaves a bit more bum cheek exposed. The total length of the lace back to the panty is 7 inches. There is a matching boyshort style panty available here at EF that matches the babydoll if you didn’t like the included panty.



It’s important to note that the XL of this outfit is actually the OS/XL. If you take a look at Coquette’s sizing chart, you’ll notice that there are a few differences between the two. The OS/XL gives a suggested weight bracket of 170-200lbs. The suggested weight should be taken with a grain of salt though because it really depends on where you hold your weight. The chart gives a suggested hip measurement of 42-50 inches. The suggested bust measurement is 40-48 inches and the suggested cup size of a C or D.

I wear a C cup, am in the high 160’s for weight, my hip measurement is 41 ½ inches, I wear a 38 bra band, and I’m 5’6 in height. I’m just under the lowest number in the suggested hip measurements but I’ve found that the OSFM always leaves me with terrible muffin top (where the chub on my hips hangs over the sides of the panty).

The babydoll fit me fairly well. My C cups fit nicely but the OS/XL would probably fit a D cup better. The length of the babydoll fell half way down my crotch and about 1/3 down my bum. I was a bit disappointed in the length since I prefer the longer pieces but the stock photo makes it clear that it is not a very long babydoll. Since the outfit is A-lined, I had no issues with waist or hip measurements. The babydoll flows outwards quite nicely. My favourite part of the babydoll would have to be the racer back style lace piece. It sits really nicely against my back and looks good.

The underwear fit nicely as well. I didn’t experience any muffin top while wearing the panty. The lace back covered most of my bum, leaving only the bottom of my bum cheeks exposed. The front part of the panty covered most of my front area quite well. It would have been nice if it were an inch or so wider but I can’t complain about that since it does a fairly decent job. The panty is comfortable enough to wear as an everyday style panty.

The outfit is really comfortable and I don’t have any complaints of skin irritation while wearing it. The lace racer back piece is also very comfortable. The lace is soft and non-irritating. The care tag states that the outfit should be hand washed only and hung to dry. Overall, I’m very happy with this outfit. It looks really cute when worn and the panty is comfortable enough to wear as an everyday style panty. I’ve deducted one star from the rating because there is no panty lining and the fact that it is quite short.
