This is actually kind of annoying. The gown you describe sounds similar to mine since it is nylon, but the lace is completely different.
In my opinion $50 is entirely too money for nylon. At the very least it should be a polyester silk. Perhaps having worked in a lingerie store and knowing a bit about materials/sewing has be judging this more harshly than you do. I'm glad you liked yours. =)
Yeah, when I saw the pictures of yours I was shocked. Mine looks exactly like the photo.
And I really don't know much about lingerie. I used to avoid it like the plague. Playtex Cross Your Heart was as close as I got. I'm learning, though.
