The Lace and Mesh Babydoll and G-string by Coquette is a hot pink and black set with a big pink bow in the front, between the breasts.

The babydoll itself is so pretty. The colors are vibrant, and very sexy. The breast portion is made from satin with a lace overlay. The bra cups don't have under-wire, but are slightly padded. They are comfortable to wear and, even though there's lace, it's not itchy as it's not touching your skin. Instead of having regular straps, the top is a halter style. The straps are made from black satin, and attaches from the sides of the breasts. About half-way up the straps, the straps turn from the black satin to a pink ribbon. The front of the bra cups are covered with pink lace, and there's a ribbon running along the top of the breast cups, as well as black lace going right through the ribbon. In the middle of the cups is a pink bow. All of the upper portion of the babydoll is satin.

Underneath the bra cups there's a front panel which has a cute stripe across the pink lace overlaying the black satin. The backside of this strip includes two satin pieces that meet in the middle across your back. It has a bra clasp on it with the three clasp sizes. Also, in this section, there are two little strings on both armpit areas, to help aid in hanging up your lingerie on a hanger. This entire mid-section piece is all made of satin and not see-through.

The bottom half of the babydoll is made from two layers of mesh. It's meant to be free-flowing away from your body. The bottom layer hangs down about two inches farther than the top layer for a cute layering effect. The bottom of the mesh layers includes two thin stripes of pink fabric for highlighting. Since this portion is made from mesh, it all is see-through. The shape of this babydoll is perfect for hiding any stomach flaws, and gives off a slimming effect.

The g-string is made from the black satin. The front panel of the black satin g-string includes a pink lace overlay. Overall, it's just a regular g-string. I'm not exactly fond of g-strings, as I'm bigger in the lower region. I'm sure this would be comfortable for most, but for me it just doesn't fit me right. It's very low riding in the front, and barely covers anything!

I selected the XL, which according to Coquette’s size chart fits sizes 14-16, D-Cup, 42-44 inch bust, 34-36 inch waist, 44-46 inch hips. I was afraid that this wasn't going to fit, as other brands tend to be smaller in size. This was actually quite roomy, and very comfortable to wear... with the exception of the g-string.

Performance

I was surprised by how well made the set was. It wasn't all that expensive, but the set actually was made quite nicely. I was scared about the halter top not being strong enough due to someone else's review, but mine is secure and well made. The other must have been defective. The bra portion holds my breasts up nicely, and has quite a bit support. I'm a 40D and the XL was the perfect size. Normally I would wear a 1X, but I'm glad I went a size down as it's a bigger fit on the upper region.

Care and Maintenance

The cleaning information for this set is located on the inside tag of the babydoll, as well as on the original tag that was pinned to the lingerie. It just says hand wash. I would personally hand wash this item in cold water, to prevent running of colors. I would also use a mild soap that's designed for dedicates, like "Zero".

Packaging

My lingerie came wrapped in bright pink tissue paper, and then packaged in a clear plastic bag that was sealed. Both the Babydoll and G-string were folded neatly, and had the original product tag pinned to the strap of the outfit. The tag advertises the Coquette company with their website listed, and their logo. It features pictures of a model wearing the lingerie from three different angles: front, side, and back. The tag also includes small little icons showing you washing instructions.

I'm 99% satisfied with my new lingerie. It looks gorgeous and hides most of my flaws. I did, however, find that the g-string didn't fit me properly. I'm used to a higher fitting thong, so I wasn't comfortable wearing it. The g-string didn't cover enough in the front region, but I know that I'm a bigger women then the average. Wearing this g-string you will want to make sure you've gotten a bikini and Brazilian wax.

The colors of this lingerie makes it one of my favorites to wear. It's very easy to take care of, and excellent quality. My fiance still loves this little number, and never gets tired of it!

I'm still loving this babydoll, but still hating the g-string. I have a weird shaped body since I lost over 100Lbs, and the babydoll camouflages my problem area. The g-string would fit someone of normal size, I just have the hanging skin that overlaps it.
I find that I can't sleep in this item, as the tie around the neck bothers me. This item is mostly to turn your lover on.
