Fantasy Lingerie presents the Iridescence bra and panty set. This matching set includes a thong and a bra with underwire support. The material is see-through, and ornamented with flower designs, small bows, and beaded artificial pearl straps. This piece is suitable for wearing underneath clothing and for wearing in the bedroom.

I got this set in a small (size chart). If anything, the sizing chart may run a little large since I can be a medium or a small, depending on the brand. The bra fit my B-cup breasts. Since this is the small size, I don’t think this set would work for an A-cup, and the small size would be too small for a C cup. The bra has an underwire for support. It closes with a hook-and-eye in the back. The front of the piece is ornamented with flowers, leaves, and shimmery lines; the back is sheer ivory fabric with satiny piping. There are little white bows with pearl beads in the center of the front and where the bust connects with each strap in front. The straps are adjustable. The front section of each strap is a strand of artificial pearls that look pretty fake. The straps don’t really stay on well the way they came in the package. The pearl sections on the straps needed to be sewn on more securely. The elastic part of the straps is very stretchy and they adjust a lot for your comfort. While the pearls are pretty for wearing this piece in the bedroom, they’re noticeable under clothes, so you might not want to wear this piece out in public. The biggest flaw I found is that the busts are cone-shaped. If you’re handy with a needle and thread, then it's easy to fix.

The thong fit my 35” hips, but would not stretch much larger. The front piece, crotch section, and back of the thong are all sheer ivory fabric, with some flower decorations and a small bow on the front. The part that goes around your hips is a satiny, stretchy band no more than 1/4 inch thick. The same satin band forms the piping around the edges of the fabric part of the thong. The crotch does not have a cotton lining, but the fabric is so sheer that I found it “breathable” and non-irritating.

MATERIAL
This piece is made from 100% polyester exclusive of the decorations (according to the tag, though the product page says nylon). The material is sheer and ivory in color, and heavily ornamented with flowers, leaves, and shimmering lines. The thong and the back of the bra have a satiny piping around the edges. The material is a little scratchy and it might irritate those with sensitive skin if worn for a prolonged period of time, but it’s not too uncomfortable for me to wear it all day, although I do notice that I have it on. The pearls on the straps are presumably plastic. They’re comfortable but I personally preferred to remove them since they don’t stay on well unless they’re sewn on and they look cheap. There is a tag on the inside of the bra. It says “Fantasy Lingerie” and lists the size, material, and care instructions. It’s not itchy or noticeable but it could be removed if so desired. I found no frays, and the stitching was solid, but the attachments for the straps at the front are not very secure.

PACKAGING
This set comes wrapped in pink tissue paper. If you’re gifting this item, you may want to pick up a gift box for wrapping it in. I like to keep this wrapped in the tissue paper in my lingerie drawer to keep it separated from other sets that I own, and to make sure that the fabric is protected from any snags, since this is a gorgeous set and I want it to last.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
According to the tag, this set can be machine-washed in cold water with light colors. I wouldn't recommend bleaching the set. It seems too delicate to go in the washing machine; I prefer to hand-wash it in cold water to prolong its life. However you wash it, it should be line-dried and not put in the dryer or twisted/wrung to dry. Once dry, it can be stored as you choose.

I chose this set because it’s absolutely gorgeous. I love the shimmery flower patterns and the sheer fabric drives my boyfriend wild. It’s a very sweet, beautiful set. With the bows and pearls, it works great for that “nice girl” look. I was very lucky that the fit was perfect. I’ve worn it for a 14-hour day (because we all love that extra boost of confidence that goes with knowing that we’re wearing sexy knickers) and I’ve worn it in the bedroom. The itchiness/scratchiness is most noticeable when I first put it on, and it wasn't too irritating to wear all day. The pearl section of the bra straps tends to slip and is somewhat noticeable under a t-shirt, though I suppose a sweater would hide it. It also didn't want to stay attached, so I had to sew it on better. The cone-shaped boobs made me think of Madonna. I personally didn’t like that look, so I folded a flap of fabric inwards and sewed it together to give the busts a more rounded look. With the modifications I made, I love this piece a lot and I hope it will last me a while.
