Must haves set - bra and panty set discontinued by Escante - review by SMichelle

Basics:
The "Must Haves" set comes to us from Escante. The set includes two pieces: a bra and a matching g-string.

Material & Care:
Both the bra and the g-string are made out of 92% Nylon and 8% Elastane. Due to the elastane, this set is quite stretchy.

Both pieces are sheer in nature, being made up essentially of mesh (with the exception of the lace trim on the bra). When I saw the set pictured on the product page, I was under the impression that it would be opaque, but nope... completely sheer. So, your nipples will most certainly show through the material.

Both the mesh and the lace is very comfortable; it doesn't itch or irritate at all. In fact, I can wear this set for extended periods of time without finding myself irritated by the material. The mesh is not the softest that I've ever felt, but it's by no means rough. The lace, on the other hand, is quite soft.

For those curious -- there is also a small cotton panty liner in the g-string.

To care for this set, you should hand wash it in cold water. Also, you should be sure to line dry it, as the dryer could ruin the delicate mesh and lace.

Sizing:
This comes in two different sizes: S/M, or M/L. I purchased the M/L.

According to the size chart, the M/L should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cup size: B/C
Bust: 36-38"
Hips: 38-40"

My measurements are a little different. I wear a 34D cup (most of the time -- I am a 34DD in some brands), and I have 40" hips.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this set fits me okay. I really fill out the cups of the bra, as I expected that I would, but my breasts don't pop out of it. Even better, I don't get that dreaded side boob look! I feel like anyone with breasts larger than me would probably pop out of the top, but those that are the same size as me or smaller should be okay.

As for the g-string? It also fits me wonderfully. The g-string would stretch to fit someone a few inches larger than me, but it would also fit someone that's a few inches smaller than me, as well.

Design:
This two piece set is really quite adorable.

The most eye-catching piece in this set is the bra, which features a blue-green material that is accented with black lace. The lace frames the breasts perfectly, creating a very stunning look.

Before I received this set, I was under the impression that the bra tied in the back, but that is not the case. Rather, this bra is designed to simply slip over your head. There IS a little bow on the back, but it's simply there for decoration; it's completely non-functional. It's a shame that there's no way to adjust the bra band. The straps, on the other hand, are adjustable. They adjust exactly the same way that other bra straps adjust; with a little plastic piece that you slide up or down.

It's important to note that the bra does not have any padding or underwire, so this isn't a bra that will offer you any bust support at all.

The g-string... well, it seems a bit like an after-thought, but who can complain at this price? The g-string is very plain. The color matches the bra, and it does have black trim, but there is no lace. Frankly, it's a little boring. Also, it doesn't offer much coverage in the front, as the triangle is pretty small.

Packaging:
This set arrived in a small plastic bag, which protected it during the shipping process. No hanger was included.

Quality:
All in all, the quality is good. The seams all seem sturdy, and I haven't noticed any loose threads.
