Overview
Behold the almost always out of stock Naughty Black Lace Set by Fantasy Lingerie. This one-size-fits-most bra and panty set is only sold in black and gives off mixed reactions upon receiving. Let me take you on the rollercoaster ride of emotions that was this product for me. The first time I saw this on the product page I had to have it. When I was finally able to get my hands on it the thin scraps of material that plopped out of the pink Fantasy Lingerie box left me disappointed. But since I’m not one to give up on a product before trying it out I decided to set aside my first reaction upon seeing this set live and tried it on. Let just say I was far from disappointed once I had this bra and panty on.


Material and Texture
The tags on both the bra and panty state that they are 92% nylon and 8% spandex which seems about spot on from what I can tell. Now for anyone who has ever bought lingerie boasting that it was Lace you might know this can lead to a variety of experiences. On the one hand you have your rough, scratchy lace or your so delicate it can tear any second now lace, and then there’s the Three Bears ‘Just Right’ lace. The Naughty Black Lace Set is made of the fantastic latter version. This set, albeit thin and leaving little to the imagination, still manages to remain both silky soft while at the same time reassuringly strong. While this is by no means a set made for everyday use for its intended purposes it should be sturdy enough to last its owner for awhile without worry of it not playing well with other garments in ones drawers.
The nylon portion of the set is used for the bra’s straps and band as well as holding together the sides of the panty. From what I can see they are also well stitched and fairly strong. But I advise that you to remember that the set itself contains very little fabric overall so under strenuous conditions it might be possible the nylon can break. But for the most part I would say this set should be okay to use without worry.
Design and Craftsmanship
Bra
The design of the bra is made of a black floral lace that contains three symmetrical half circles on both sides of the cups. These leave enough room to cover the middle of the breasts then cut off so that the rest of the ‘cup’ shows bare skin. While this may lack any sort of padding and very little material it does contain a firmly placed underwire and adjustable straps. As for the band Fantasy Lingerie has created it to look as if one is wearing a bikini. Instead of containing the hooks that usually hold together most bra’s the wearer of this set must tie the band together. While this adds to the reasons why one cannot use this set for everyday use there is a nice attribute to this concept. If you look at the measurements listed below you will see that the band is rather long on each side leaving the wearer a nice amount of room to work with when adjusting the bra. This is great as it means the bra will fit a variety of band sizes for women who may be interested in this set. Unfortunately since the cups do not offer this same adjustability the number of women who this set would work for is still limited.



Panty
The panty is very similar to the bra in terms of design with the same floral lace that cuts off. It only differs slightly by having the lace of the panty cut off into two larger symmetrical half circles on both the front and the back. These are then attached to two nylon straps that hold the panty in place at the band and a bit lower down where the second half circle ends. The nylon straps then meet at the top of the hips where they are stitched into place. For those of you who were wondering the panty does contain a cotton liner which is great as panties that do not have this feature are likely to let bacteria fester.



Packaging and Cleaning
The manufacturer recommends that this is “Hand wash separately in cold water. Do not bleach. Flat dry.” I would say it’s safe to drop this beauty in a garment bag and wash with the delicates in cold water. But I would agree that it’s best not to bleach this or throw it in the dryer.

Honesty this One-Size-Fits-Most placement doesn’t give much to go on for a lot of ladies. I know that it would leave a lot of us feeling apprehensive about purchasing any product that boasts this moniker. With this in mind I have to say that the apprehensiveness is well placed. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely adore this set but I do not recommend it for everyone. Look at my measurements and hear me when I say this fits me quite well. There is a little give since the back of the bra is bikini style so I will say that the bra will work for many band sizes. Alas the cups are not as versatile, they are best for those ranging from full B’s to small C cupped breasts. A full C might be pushing it. The panties are lovely and I was so happy when they fit my hips without cutting into them. Usually when one purchases a bra and panty set the panty is the weak link but in this case they’re a dream. A women with hips a bit smaller than mine, maybe at 36inches, can fit into these fairly well and there is a bit of stretch to work with as listed in the measurements section.
Likes and Dislikes
What I wasn’t so fond of
From my own selfish point of view there isn’t much to dislike about this set. But if it hadn’t fit me I would have been quite distressed. So with this in mind I say that it would be very nice if Fantasy Lingerie were to kindly make this set in various sizes to fit everyone. Not just who they believe to be ‘most’ women, because let’s face reality here lingerie manufacturer’s your ideals of what most women should have for measurements is not what most women actually have. The sooner they realize this the sooner they can sell even more lingerie and have many happy customers to boot.
What I loved
Can I once again say how happy I am that the panty in this set fits me? For those of you who read my last Fantasy Lingerie review Oh Satin Bra How I Adore You you are aware that the panty in this set painfully bit into my thighs and crotch. Remembering my last encounter with this brand I was a bit afraid of what I would find within a ‘one sized’ set by the same manufacturer. Color me surprised when everything fit perfectly. The detail and fabric of this set is superb, especially considering there is so little material to begin with I would expect to be more afraid to wear it then I am. Not only does this make me look and feel fantastic but I know that it is well made which leaves me worry free in the face of its delicacy. I didn’t think it was possible for Fantasy Lingerie to please me more but hey somehow managed it.
