Just a Novelty
For those who are corset connoisseurs, I can't recommend this corset. It's more or less something that one would pick up in the mall at one of those 20-somethings' shops. I might recommend it as a flirty piece of clothing for a night on the town, but I wouldn't recommend this if you were looking for a serious corset.Published: December 28, 2011
Pros:
quick and easy to put on, flirty for a night on the town, comfortable despite lack of lining
Cons:
no lining, needs boning at zipper and lacing, slick lacing makes knots difficult, lighter ruche

It's alright as a basic piece of clothing, but I still wouldn't recommend it to those who want a true corset. It's not really going to do the job you might expect it to. It's held up well. I've shortened the lacing, because it was bothering me.

I love the look of corsets. I find that they also help slim out my "mommy middle", if you will. But I can't get past how uncomfortable these dang things are...Any suggestions?

But I can't get past how uncomfortable these dang things are...Any suggestions?I'm not sure if you are only interested in the one you posted above (haven't purchased that one so I can't tell you about it), but a lot of the corsets on here have plastic boning, and are really stretchy so a lot of the "discomfort" is minimized (in my opinion anyway).

I only buy custom-made, steel boned corsets that are not -too tight- and I don't find them uncomfortable at all. I find that the cheaper the corset, or the more ill-fitting, the more discomfort.
