Ok, what is it and why are you telling me about it?

This is a thong from Baci that I can only describe as "novelty." It does have some practical uses, although the best may be pretending to be Borat.

Ha! Ok so tell me about the packaging.

It came in a sort of envelope inside an envelope. The inner one held the thong against a piece of cardboard in plastic wrap, and the outer one had photos of a model wearing it. The outside (and a tag inside the thong) also has sizing information, materials, and care. This piece is 90% Polyester and 10% Kitted Spandex and should be machine washed warm and tumble dried on low. It specifically says not to iron or dry clean it, but feel free to hand wash it if you don't want to run it through the wash.

Lingerie that actually says to put it in the washing machine? Awesome! Now tell me about the sizing.

The sizing on this is a bit tricky. Not just because it's a one size piece so there's likely a huge audience that can't fit into it, but because whatever sizing is listed really doesn't matter. If you want to tie off the sides and wear it around your hips, it'll fit. The more important measurement is the number between your crotch and shoulder. Mine happens to be about 26" and I was able to wear this with room to spare. I got the side strings to stretch up to about 43", so even tall folks should be able to wear this.

Fair enough, tell me more about the thong.

The thong itself is designed very similar to a traditional style thong, where there's a piece of fabric that runs from the front to the back. In the front it's about 3 1/4" across, tapers down to about 1 1/4" in the middle and flares back out to about 1 1/2" right in the back. It covers well enough at first, but if you don't shave then you'll be able to see hair sticking out of the top most likely. The elastic that runs through the top of the front and back is actually one string that's tied with a visible knot. You can untie this to make it shorter, or cut it out and thread in a new ribbon or something if you want.

What's the quality like?

Really good surprisingly. I mean, the elastic doesn't have a capped end where it's cut, but the thong itself is really well made. It's got a front and a back, and while it doesn't have a crotch liner it doesn't need one because the whole thing is put together so nicely. It feels thick in a good way

How was wearing it?

Surprisingly not all that bad. When thinking seriously about the things I liked versus the things I didn't like, I ended up with more things that I didn't like but I still want to wear it. I didn't like that the elastic wanted to fall off of my shoulders, but I found that the way to fix that was to move them between my breasts. Unfortunately I also discovered this is the best way to ensure that my nipple rings get snagged a lot. I didn't like that the front bunched up on my vagina and covered literally my lips and nothing else that wasn't in that narrow strip. I did like the color a lot, and it was otherwise fairly comfortable to wear.

Ha! I was actually just going to leave you with a few of the thong itself because it's so revealing, but being the trooper that I am put it on over some sweatpants and a t-shirt. You can see where I've pulled the elastic up on one side too. That didn't affect anything on the other side at all. I could have had them both up, but then I couldn't take the picture by myself.

This was surprisingly comfortable, if I sat still in one spot. It's not really nipple ring friendly at all and the suspender straps move around so damn much. On the outside of my breasts they fall over, and in between my breasts they try to move out and no matter where I have them over my shoulders they always seem to end up catching on my barbells. To be honest though, I didn't get this because I thought it was going to be sexy. I got it because I thought it would be hilarious to surprise my husband with my Borat thong, and he laughed heartily and enjoyed it.

I hate how well made it is, because I feel like without some sort of modification it's almost not wearable on a regular basis. But on the other hand, it being so well made makes me want to play around and find the most comfortable and unsilly way to wear it. I'll report back later.
