White fishnet thigh high - thigh highs discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by married with children

We received these as a set during one of edens last sales. They are a one size fits all. My wife is about 5' 4", and these did not bunch up on her legs. They sat a little high on her thighs, due to her short nature. So I believe these would sit just right on a taller woman.

These came packaged in a simple plastic bag with a cheap hanger/clip. One of the stockings was around a cardboard insert, with the other hiding behind. The cardboard helped showcase the netting on the stockings. There was no paperwork included with the stockings. So I do not know what they are made from. I do not know how to care for them. The product page on eden has the material listed as Nylon.

The stitching on these are done pretty well. There are no loose ends to unravel and cause problems like snags. The netting gets smaller down by the feet and especially the toes. This helps keep your toes inside the stockings, and not poking through. The elastic style band around the top has a nice feel to it. It is constructed from the same material as the netting. It has a nice stretchy feel to it. We found that the stockings do not hold themselves up every well. They did fine if she just stood there without any movement, but once she was moving around they would start sliding down. She has always worn these with the garter straps on her lingerie. So we did not find this to be too annoying. If you are looking for stockings to stay up by themselves without straps, these are probably not them.

These only come in one color, white. It would be nice to see some other colors available. But for now, the white works. We have used these with the "Honeymoon babydoll with garter set", the "School girl bustier", and the "True bliss chemise". (reviews coming for these in the near future) Eden has a number of outfits that would go with these stockings.

This fit the wife pretty well. At least well enough for a free pair of stockings. It would be nice if they sold stockings by your height. Then I know she could find a pair that would fit her perfectly. But for a free pair that we have gotten more then a couple of uses out of, these are pretty good.

Now we have not washed them yet. Part of the reason is we do not know if we can throw them in the washing machine, or if we have to hand wash them. The other part is that they have not gotten dirty enough to need a cleaning yet. I am a little worried about when that time comes. How will they hold up to a gentle cycle in the machine?

This have held up very well, for a free item that was included with a piece of lingerie we purchased. They have been washed several times, with no problems. They have not really snagged on anything. I am quite pleased with these. I will have no problem purchasing a replacement set when this ones die.
