** Design **

The Lovely Innocence Garter Slip and Thong by DreamGirl is really a fantastic piece. It is made of Polyester and Spandex to allow a wonderful fit for different body types all around. The white color is beautiful and contrasts well with varying skin tones, and the design is well thought out and sexy for anyone.

This piece is designed with a lacey feel to it. It has a flower pattern that gives off an innocent vibe(hence the name) with a silky frill along the bottom to add a hint of sensuality.

The sides are lined with lacey clothes that give the piece a corset like feel by providing the look of boning, and four small bows finish the piece off (two on top of the breasts and two at the bottom that sit right on the thighs).

The straps are comfortable and adjustable, and optional garter straps come with it as well.


** Size/Fit and Measurements(all done in inches) **




DreamGirl's size chart doesn't have an XL size... but they have Queen one size and 1X/2X so I will compare the two of those for this piece.

The 1X sizing on DreamGirl's chart is:

(To measure lingerie, it is best to lay the piece flat and double the measurements up to get the best fit.)

The XL piece measures:

18 across the chest, 20 stretched comfortably.
16 across the waist; 19 stretched comfortably
20 across the hip, 23 stretched comfortably

21 inches long from the top of the cups to the bottom of the lace on the edges,
19 inches long from the top of the cups to the bottom of the lace in the middle.

Now my measurements appear to fit the XL sizing better, and this piece fit me quite well. If your measurements are close to mine I would suggest XL; 1X to be safe or if you want a looser fit(although 1X might be too big---depends on the manufacturer!)


This fits me in all the right places... it's a tad short but that doesn't hurt anything for me.
The white color accentuates my curves and brings out my skin tone in a really nice way. If you have darker hair this piece will contrast really well too. There are two small bows on the top above the breasts.This doesn't have built in support but it's tight enough to hold the girls up well.






** Wait... what about the thong?! **

The thong is a tad tight, but it fits very well and measures 14 inches across. That may sound small, but it stretches comfortably to 19 inches (making optimum fit for a 38" hip). Mine fit well without being too tight so it stretches well. It is just as pretty as the rest of the piece.

** Material and Care **

Although this is made of polyester and spandex, care should be taken when washing the slip.

The care instructions on the tag suggest hand washing this in cold water and allowing it to air dry. If you are daring you could try machine washing this in a lingerie bag on gentle cycle and then air drying. I have not tried yet but I plan on doing mine that way.

The thong could be washed the same way; I have machine washed mine with no issues.

DreamGirl has definitely been listening to us here at Eden, because the pieces I have received from them lately are much better than the ones I first got a year or so ago. The sizes are becoming more forgiving and the material seems to be much better quality than before. Thanks, DreamGirl, for listening to us!
